-1946-1989 Cold War and all its conflicts
-1990's-2011 Mostly religious wars and conflicts over oil.(post-colonial conflicts mostly)


I chose these guys: (Germans, French, British, Russians, Americans, Ottomans and Italians)

As they set the stage for the murdering of between 55 000 000 and 137 000 000 in the two World Wars alone.

WWI killed | 0.8%-3.6% of the world population,
WWII killed | 1.7%-3.1%

Btw, the biggest conflict in history was the An Lushan Rebellion in China (755-763 AD), killing 14.0%-15.3% of the world population (33,000,000-36,000,000 people at the time)

READ THE WHOLE POST

As a species we have produced some rather poor specimens. We have had dictators, serial killers, pedophiles and other degenerates in our society. But which is the worst? Which person is the epitome of human scum?

The answer to that question varies from person to person, we have seen many wastes of skin in our brief time on earth. From Stalin to Charles Manson there are plenty of human garbage to pick from.

So who get's your vote for most evil human in history? It can be anyone, but to avoid repeat answers I'll have to ask you to refrain from answering Hitler or Stalin. So aside from them, who is one person that you wish was never born? And please explain why.

Personally, Idi Amin comes to mind. He was born in a Ugandan tribe and joined the army, he was an immense human being with incredible physical strengths. When the British left Uganda he was promoted to Colonel, and began to commit murders and steal money. Before he was delt with he disposed of the current leader at the time in a military coup and began to build he army to get himself more money and power. His army was made up of thugs who raped and tortured many people under Amin's orders, they ran a jail that had only 7 survivors who only survived because they ate human flesh and drink their own urine to live. Amin was thought to be a canibal. He even kept the heads of certain victems in his fridge and had photos of people being tortured in his jails for his own pleasure. He even chopped up his first wife when she displeased him.

He also purged anyone who wasen't a born Ugandan from Uganda, leading to an economic crisis in the country when no one knew how to run the stores they were given. Amin made his thugs step up their cruelty. He eventually was taken out of power when he invaded another African country and his thugs only knowing how to bully civilians got their asses kicked. There he fled to Saudi Arabia and got asylum there, he never paid for his crimes.

I picked this monster because unlike many leaders at the time he had no real politcal agenda, he was just a greedy bastard with a drive for power.

No, he's not really "evil" or the "worst ever," but he does have a large part in American civilization back pedaling so voraciously and being so proud of it. He really should be taken off the air. With a sniper bullet, if that's what it takes.

I have no issue with people I disagree with, some I even love (Yahtzee, to name someone on this site). The problem I have with Mr. Bill is the amount of power he wields over the American public... Power no one political figure, much less journalist, should ever have.

Honestly, if you want to make a joke, you need to put a "lol" or something to show your joking. Sarcasm doesn't come across well in posts...

Also, he really doesn't have that much "power". He has a TV and radio show, just like Ed Shultz, Rachel Maddow, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Keith Olberman (use too, Lawrence O'Donnell, Chris Matthews, and many other Liberal and Conservative commentators. They are opinion/commentary shows and I know for a fact that most of these people don't frame themselves as "journalists" (a term i don't think really exists anymore), but commentators who put the news in the perspective of their believes.

The issue is, the liberal ones are never really successful commercially. Most MSNBC commentators are liberals while most of Fox News are conservatives (Ironic that the people who ***** about Fox News won't point out the liberal bias on MSNBC/NBC News, but I digress...). MSNBC constantly gets their butt handed to them by Fox News and center left leaning CNN.

When most Americans have a choice to watch a commentator, they choose Bill, or Sean, or Beck, not Rachel, or ED, or Lawrence.

This is because the majority of the country is center-right/libertarian/conservative. There is a loud group of hard-left liberals and communist/socialist that have a large voice in the news and entertainment media that have great sway, but it never sticks.

So, to sum it all up.
1.Sorry I misunderstood the joke, but you may want to denote that its a joke next time to protect yourself
2. The only power Bill has is the one given to him by a fan base and a nation that doesn't always agree with him, but have more libertarian/Conservative values

I understand what you are saying, but ratings and surveys have shown time and again that Bill is one of the most trusted sources of "NEWS" anywhere. People, too many people, take what he says at face value without a second thought. There is no one else in "news" who holds the scale of sway that he does. The only person who can compete with his ratings is John Stewart, who is a fucking COMEDIAN.

I see Bill's power over the American public as problematic because of my personal opinions and views. As far as I'm concerned, his blindly religious, pro-life, homophobic, sexist "opinions" being pawned off as fact by "Faux News" are detrimental in the highest possible way to the psyches of an already delicately stupid viewing audience.

The thread is about people's opinions on evil human beings, not on qualifying factors that everyone agrees are present in evil human beings. I think he's a scary fuckhead with an army of dimwitted Bible Thumpers backing him up. I don't like him, lol.

Want an example? Baghdad. The second city to reach a million citizens (the first being Rome), and was a seat of learning and wisdom. And the Mongols sacked it, set it on fire, and salted it's fields and destroyed it's irrigation system. Long story short, desertification set in, and it became the arid land you see today.

So much wasted opperunity, and the Crusades didn't really help, destroying the tolerant culture that accepted men of all creeds, and instead replacing it with the conservative, xenophobic one that you can still see today.

I'm putting all three here because if I've understood correctly they are/were (who knows when that's going to an all out form again) all, sort of, on the same side in the northern Uganda conflict. And they are all charged with the same things; rape, slavery, sex slavery, forced recruitment of child soldiers, mass murder, mutilation of several thousands.
All are still at large, and all are still alive (far as we know) today. We really don't need to look far to find some evil fucking assholes in this world.
