Um... No.. ALOT of americans make those kinds of jokes, brah.Dumbfish1 said:Lol, you just pissed off almost all of America in two sentances.TheCommie12 said:Jesus? jokes, there is no such thing, the one of the most evil people is George W. Bush
Not really his fault, he could not have foreseen it. For example if you save a child from dying and that child turns out to later be Hitler, are you a terrible person for saving the child?GraveeKing said:Hitler did a lot of good for his country through the early part of his reign, he pulled it out of poverty. Did some good here and there (some stupidity too but meh - so have all humans), if he hadn't invaded Russia he'd probably have taken over Europe and more or less made it one big Fascist country. Which would be a hell of a lot better than the shitty E.U we got today.
ANYWAYS back on topic!
Most evil person in History? The stupid King of England who pissed off America enough to make them independent - why is he evil? O.K he didn't do that much harm hismelf, but by annoying them enough to make them revolt, he's caused wars, took out a large chunk from the British Empire, AND created one of the most war-mongering country's to date! (No offense to you Americans - the people themselves there are great, it's just your country and governments have done quite a lot of crap).
So the most evil man, decided to be corrupt and tax people for his own gain but in the end his selfishness created one of the most dangerous country's now in existence (-insert nuke reference here-

Baghdad was destroyed 30 years after Genghis Khan's deathGotterdammerung said:I'll probably go with Gengis Khan, purely for destroying what chance the East had at becoming the major nations of the world.
I mean, they had universities and schools, and they were the most advanced nations in the world, and were destroyed by the Mongols.
Want an example? Baghdad. The second city to reach a million citizens (the first being Rome), and was a seat of learning and wisdom. And the Mongols sacked it, set it on fire, and salted it's fields and destroyed it's irrigation system. Long story short, desertification set in, and it became the arid land you see today.
My reply to this thread: YOU, for bringing us this atrcious vocabulary and spelling [/sarcasm]Hamish Durie said:Before reading furthure please note that I am not saying that you are evil for folling christianity.
dam just one guy or a whole group if a whole group it would have to be christianity from about 2000 years ago not mordern day christens very very very sorry if you took offense and if modderaters take this down i understand but considering that they basiclly had more power then any one else at the time from about 1000AD and 1600AD they ruled your life in Europe.
some priests had heratics, witches, and homosexuals tourtued or burned at the stake (thats where the term ****** was inveted to mean gays, they tossed them on witches fires saying that they where faggots of wood)
They started a holy war killing thousands and making a feud that goes on to this day destroyed many many native religions when exploration started
science and further human advancement barely moved and inch
not saying that any mordern christiens are evil today just saying that much pain and suffering has been done by those who say they do Gods work.
I know that christiens have done alot of good but in my own opinion christianity has alot against it.
I share this perspective, but what's your criteria for evil then? Not the social definition, what's yours personally?Accountfailed said:Evil is a subjective term that changes from society to society. to say that someone was the 'most evil' would be like saying that someone has the best opinion, or creates the best work of art, it's actually quite silly.
Do you consider a corrupt politician evil? more so than a serial killer or a petty thief? How about a mugger or a gangster? You can't pick who is the most evil because there is no most, it's relative to you. the corrupt politician harms many people but not directly, but the serial killer harms few and butchers them. The mugger harms people for the material items they worked hard for to possess, and the petty thief; though he does not steal much, is still forsaking civilized rules in lieu of cheating.
I don't understand why they suspended him, he gave a good answer. Seriously, if he said "I would humbly like to submit Chairman Mao as a candidate," he would still be here. C'mon, Escapist!Blatherscythe said:Any specific reasons?Vuljatar said:Mao Zedong.
Dear God man. We get it, you're a conservative on the Internet.Brockyman said:Honestly, if you want to make a joke, you need to put a "lol" or something to show your joking. Sarcasm doesn't come across well in posts...Harry Mason said:Yeah... The sniper assassination part? That was a joke. The "[being] a large part in American civilization back pedaling so voraciously and being so proud of it?" That was the sentiment. I have no issue with people I disagree with, some I even love (Yahtzee, to name someone on this site). The problem I have with Mr. Bill is the amount of power he wields over the American public... Power no one political figure, much less journalist, should ever have.Brockyman said:I don't get why someone can get banned on this website for posting "First" on a forum, but when you advocate the murder or a TV personality b/c you disagree with him... No, he's not really "evil" or the "worst ever," but he does have a large part in American civilization back pedaling so voraciously and being so proud of it. He really should be taken off the air. With a sniper bullet, if that's what it takes.
Did you actually think I was "advocating murder?" Because, if so, you have officially upstaged the original joke!
Also, he really doesn't have that much "power". He has a TV and radio show, just like Ed Shultz, Rachel Maddow, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Keith Olberman (use too, Lawrence O'Donnell, Chris Matthews, and many other Liberal and Conservative commentators. They are opinion/commentary shows and I know for a fact that most of these people don't frame themselves as "journalists" (a term i don't think really exists anymore), but commentators who put the news in the perspective of their believes.
The issue is, the liberal ones are never really successful commercially. Most MSNBC commentators are liberals while most of Fox News are conservatives (Ironic that the people who ***** about Fox News won't point out the liberal bias on MSNBC/NBC News, but I digress...). MSNBC constantly gets their butt handed to them by Fox News and center left leaning CNN.
When most Americans have a choice to watch a commentator, they choose Bill, or Sean, or Beck, not Rachel, or ED, or Lawrence.
This is because the majority of the country is center-right/libertarian/conservative. There is a loud group of hard-left liberals and communist/socialist that have a large voice in the news and entertainment media that have great sway, but it never sticks.
So, to sum it all up.
1.Sorry I misunderstood the joke, but you may want to denote that its a joke next time to protect yourself
2. The only power Bill has is the one given to him by a fan base and a nation that doesn't always agree with him, but have more libertarian/Conservative values
