While looking over a WW2 game, my girlfriend asks "Do you kill people in it?". So I held up the game and said: "Nope, it's purely political. You sit in a chair and every so often, someone runs in, asking for your decision."

She believed me. I buy the game, get it home, put it in, and she squeals with delight saying "I can blow people up! You lied to me!"

Yes she does, but I'm 15 and am going to join the marines in 3 years, I just think of it as practice, I know someone is going to call me on this, but I hope we're still in Afghanistan then, so I can see some action, I want to be a veteran, or die for my country like so many others have before me.

I was talking to a friend of mine about a mod I had tried out the night before, when a fairly stereotypical XBox fanboy (sorry if that offends) comes along and says that modding is retarded, and that only noobs do it.... I would guess that he thought I was talking about modding hardware.

I'm actually guilty for giving extra attention to female gamers, its like a how a normal guy shows interest in a very attractive women, I do it for a women who knows her games. They're just different kinds of superficial behavior.

Someone said that MW2 was best played on an Xbox because HDTV was better than any computer graphics. I play my games on a 24" monitor with fairly decent graphic cards, I'm pretty sure my game looks better than his. (if only for a cost of a a few months worth of saving)

A friend of mine was playing on my Global Agenda account for about 4 hours and loved it, when asked if he wanted to buy it. He said he'd never buy a game unless it scored a 80+ on the metacritic, he liked the game but because it wasn't rated yet he wouldn't buy it. Talk about wanting to be spoon fed.

Two from my brother, one that I'll give the fat skinny of:

-after explaining for about ten minutes on how a song gets put onto Rock Band and due to copyright laws many songs can't be put in the game & etc., etc., my idiot old man brother says "You should just be able to put in a CD and have whatever songs you want." (this has happened several times.)

-After showing the same idiot brother one of the 'Fight for the Lost' Mass Effect 2 trailers (the one for Grunt I believe.) he says to me "this doesn't look good at all[graphic wise]"

But then again, this is the same idiot that believes that there are wolves wandering around in NYC and that the moment Obama entered office the country has gone down the shitter.

PC probably has the fastest growing library, especially when extensive game mods are counted. Not counting the small mods that change a few settings of the game, I mean stuff like the Kaiserreich mod for Hearts of Iron 2 or the Mech Warrior mod for Crysis, those that basically make it a different game based on the same mechanics.

Probably when the people that are in charge now die of old age and no are no longer ther to stuff their 1950's social view of the world down our throats. Of course, there will still be the religious puritans to contend with. USA is so lame like that.
