Halo 2 on Legendary. Anyone who says that they've beaten the entire game on Legendary is LYING. ONE GODDAMN NEEDLE TAKES OUT 1/3 OF YOUR HEALTH. And that's when you undoubtedly have about five other people shooting at you and doing MORE damage than that with each shot. The level Heretic is suicide. I couldn't even get to the Flood part, and I'm pretty good at killing NPCs and players before they can kill me.
Co-op man, you still get the credit.

The first Far-Cry on realistic mode is damn near unplayable.

IDGAF if you beat it or not, veteran mode on COD WAW is BRUTAL.

I mean seriously, it's a test of patience not skill.

i'm going to say fire emblem shadow dragon on merciless difficulty, because the very first enemy can kill any of your party members in 2 hits and it's rather insane further in.

No-one seems to win this obscure little game called the 'search box'

Any of the original Megaman games + Megaman 9; LittleBigPlanet on the second Wastelands level (That big spinny thing is the most annoying thing EVAR!; Minesweeper; Professor Layton and the Curios Village was also really hard towards the end.

Stronghold ledgends, the game was pretty simple until you got to the 'bullsheite' levels, I refer to the one before last levels of every army. Especially the Norse guys, you have to attack a castle that can only be described as being built in hells ass crack. you had three paths to choose from each made from varying degrees of doom.

One consisted of about 45 dragons, another was archers paradise and since you had no way to kill said archers you basically died in 0.2 seconds and the third path was filled with werewolves.

I actually broke a keyboard in fustration because of that level.

Psyvariar - Complete edition for the PS2!! (been sitting here for ages trying to remember the name) on the highest difficulty, it was one of those scrolling space shooter games like Gradius, the catch was, you were ACTUALLY ENCOURAGED to get as close to, if not skim the enemy bullets as much as possible, thats how you powered/leveled up your weapons...something about siphoning energy off using your shields.

Of course, my reaction times probably terrible :p but some of the bosses fill the bloody screen with all these types of shots....

Alex The Kid... the one which was built into the Master System II. I was only little at the time, but I swear there were rooms at the end which were a) impossible to leave, and b) absolutely certain death.

Laaaame!

CoD WaW, just stupidly hard and way harder than CoD4. Too many grenades and too many situations being pinned down.
