All the self labelled "cynics" and such, believing they are the only ones to percieve the world as it is and understand the badness of the media that all the unwashed masses eat up. Along with all the "eccentrics".
Same with the constant "most of the population is shit" with the implied "except me and those who I deem worthy"

Jumping down peoples throats for having a different or unorthodox opinion.

It happens in real life, but when people claim to be the soul of free speech I really get irritated.

Hey! It is my right to tell you every thing you say is wrong! It's my right to free speech (another thing that annoys me, the assumption that 'free speech' applies to every word they say, everywhere they say it) to deny you the right to an opinion!

When People Type Like This

Oh God yes. No criticism intended if you yourself were once and offender, but I don't understand at. At least when people type phonetically (which I also despise) you can understand where they're coming from. But I Just Don't Understand Why Every New Word Needs A Capital Letter. It baffles me!

Dammit, that's what I was gonna put! Seriously, that's only done by people who troll or are advertising something. And what does it accomplish?

Also:
- People who start arguements about something completely off-topic to the forum. Heaven help if the name Anonymous appears in the thread. It becomes a huge political troll-fest (the worst kind!).
- Grammar nazis. I can understand people who make a few grammar mistakes, it happens to everyone. And if it's so bad it's unreadable, then I can understand people trying to correct it. But I hate the kind of people who will write a mini essay on how bad you fail at life because you made a single spelling mistake.

Bringing up really old threads is a bit annoying. I know it's bad when there are loads of threads on the same topic, bit I've been quoted on a thread a year after I posted.

Another thing I find a bit annoying is when people reply to a point made by someone else (not the OP) without a quote or reference to the original post. I get it that the problem comes from the, basically useless, "Reply" button. It moves you down to the "Reply to Thread" section, but what people expect it to do is reply to that particular post (otherwise why would the button be on every post?). So I'm more irritated at the forum's design than people's habits.

Well 'tleast it's better than inernet ebonics (the most academic term i could think of for "gangsta speech" ) Though come to think of it i haven't really encountered that outside of the youtube comment box.

It's frowned upon, and I'm sure strong worlds would be had, but it happens quite a bit by different people.

Thread subjects that repeat every day.

I've done it once, unintentionally, and once posted something that was already in the news on the front page, because I had missed it. But when the same thread, exactly the same, repeats every day. It pissed me off a bit.

Equally, whenever someone quotes another person, usually making a valid point. The quoter's contribution? "This".. Yes, we've seen it. What about it? I'm fairly sure it's already been seen. You know, the same way you yourself saw it? Quoting someone else and limply acknowledging it does not make it your point, further the discussion, or flatter the person who did bother to think.

Joke over, usually I see that as a way of saying, "Yea, I have the same opinion and don't want to waste my time writing the same thing."

And also people saying you are misinformed when you say you don't like something. I've been on the receiving end of this on this forum when I sad I don't like the James Bond movies.
