I really like sawn off shotguns in games, and I wish that there was more of them. The sawn off from stalker: SoC was excellent for defending yourself against dogs, and the ones in Fallout was also great against critters getting too close. Battlefield: Bad Company has some insanely powerful shotguns. You can take out anyone in one shot in close quaters, and the sound and animation are brutal.

AA-12 is a mighty shotgun, full auto and can be changed out for 20mm grenade rounds, but is WAY too big. There is a similar auto shotgun call the USA-12.

yes its heavy, but its compact than most shotguns, without sawing off parts, and really versatile.
