I love Sledge's shotgun from Borderlands. You get it early on, and if playing as the Soldier class and specd for increased shotgun damage, spread, and increased magazine just makes this gun God mode. It shoots 2 full blasts at your target, doing massive damage, and knocking them into next week. While sometimes hard to aim, if you line up the shot, then you are almost guaranteed the kill on most basic enemies.
My shotgun from Mass Effect 2, it knocks Saren down and is unable to get up because my weapon recharges in time before he's able to move again, knocking him back down.

And...Hmmm, IDK, love loads of shotguns, there shotfun! -Killed for lame pun- I like the SPASPA-12 (Or however it is spelt) & AA-12 in MW2, even if all the shotguns in that game are pretty much win, and also the autoshotgun in L4D.
As if I didn't know that. It's just the most kickass shotgun ever designed. The OP didn't insist the shotgun to be in production or even real. Just in a video game. Real World: The Four Bore. Four. Gauge. Shotgun. Fuck yes. If you made a slug round, that's about 1 caliber without a decimal. (.22, .45, .50, 1)
