That's going be my nightmare for the week, might as well tell me what game is this from?

My choice is these guys with the shield in Arkham City, they are not hard to beat, but they are annoying...

Everquest.

They weren't dangerous or anything. They didn't harass you or make life difficult. It's just...look at them. LOOK AT THEM.

And they made this sad little buzzing sound when you killed them, too, which was awesome. I would hove wildly off path just to smack one into the ground.

Rabid Skags and Rapid Stalkers are the most evil, most irritating, things to fight in a video game. They put you into fight for your life in 3 seconds flat.

I second this plus I ad Badass Psycho's from the same game.

Can I point out the only example that would put the rest to shame?

Yup, that's it, we're done here.
Man, the first time I played that game...
...almost gave me a heart attack.

I think you won.

You think those guys are bad? At least you can kill them, once a cursed pirate touches you its game over.

Anchorman takes the cake from the dlc.

If you have no idea about these then I envy you, but also I must tell you to track down Morrowind and play it, but get the no-racer mod first.
WHY? Why do people hate them so much?
I never found them annoying, I even miss them in recent TES games :)

No, everyone has to experience them, then they're allowed to install that mod.

But yeah, they are annoying as hell, no matter where you go, what you do.... they're waiting on you to be an inconvenience.

I would like to change mine:
THE FUCKING PATHFINDING in the new X-COM

I had lost 3 soldiers due to my own carelessness in my Impossible Ironman run (Hardest difficulty, auto-save only) which I can deal with. Bad tactics, bad outcome. But I was 3 enemies away from finishing the mission. I tell my soldier to move to where I thought was the platform overlooking the rest of the ship. Turns out that, because there was a lower level below this overhang, It thinks I wanted my soldier to run up to where I told him to run, and than jump off into a group of 3 Chryssalids.

I could have won that mission, but no... The game ignored the fact that I was clicking on the current floor, not the floor below. And now, I am horribly un-equipped to continue playing...

Boldore. Like... Fuck!

You're going through caves, or whatever, and then these fuck-heads show up! They're worse then Zubats and Geodudes because of the whole stupid 'Sturdy' Ability they have that means you can never kill them in one hit and walk on. I mean, I know Repel exists and all but... Freaking damn I hate Boldore.

Micah (Fire Emblem: Path of Radience)
Micaiah was only in Radiant, but she was pretty crap. Kind of a boring, mary sue-ish character. Also was about as durable as wet paper, but also was to slow to be a DPS.
Sorry I meant to say Radient Dawn.
Well I hated her as I couldn't symapthies with her due to the fact it was her nation that started the war in the first place. Sure I get she wanted to liberate her people from being opress but since she views toward Ike (the hero from the first game) as the villain only made me not wanting to help her at all.

Cannot believe nobody mentioned the Hunter (or Regenerator or Unkillable Goddamn Thing) from Dead Space. That damn thing caused me to actually hate going into new areas, something nothing else in gaming has managed (except Teemo). The last time you fight it it even creeps up behind you. Don't know how to insert pictures, but google it, it's just creepy.

those guys are push overs, you at least have a shot at taking them down in final stand. If you get downed by a cursed pirate you might as well hold down x.

Pretty much the biggest reason. They can attack at any time, however, wouldn't necessarily mean they'll ever reach you. They are notorious for sticking behind trees/rocks/mountains and generally being flying and annoying. At low levels, they are quite hard, especially if travelling between towns[footnote]Hell, I booted up Morrowind again a couple of days ago, and one attacked me when I was in the middle of Caldera. I was very low level. I would have died, if the whole town guard hadn't jumped in, while I was running for my life using any method of healing available, trying to reach any house/shop to escape. The best part? I had a mod that left only 20 Cliff Racers in the entire game.[/footnote], at higher levels, they are annoying if you don't have ranged attacks, at very high levels, they are still annoying since even though you can levitate and/or shoot, they are so aggressive that you still have to pause your game (as in, stop doing what you're doing) to deal with them.

Scumbag Cliff Racers. All of them.

If there's one thing I hate, it's those blasted Praetorians in Mass Effect 3's multiplayer. They're the worst! They move fast, have a ton of shields and armor, they hit with the force of an exploding stick of dynamite and they have an instant-kill move they'll use when they get within melee range.

This. Never ending, bobbing, petrifying. I mean, they can be dealt with, but so often missing them means death through being knocked off platforms into oblivion, or in the old games at least 1/4 life gone if you don't get knocked off - never fun.

But they were a source of plumes
And with plumes and trama roots experienced alchemist could turn himself into jet fighter
So I personally welcomed them
