People that pretend to be discriminated when they're straight white Christian men living in a country run by straight white Christian men.
People that say being a straight white man excludes you from being discriminated against in certain countries. I guess all of my beatings, scars and shot up house are imaginary huh?

Intolerance of other people's beliefs. So basically 99% of the internet and 95% or real life. I see it all the time on the escapist and it pisses me off to no end. So they believe in some kind of god/don't believe. So what? Get over it or go spank your more intellectual/spiritual monkey somewhere else. You don't like or believe it? Thats fine! No reason to start flinging insults and damnations to hell.

One time on Guild Wars, we eere doing this dungeon and we reach to the final boss room and then one player went AFK. We were annoyed and calling him a leech and etc (he left no message to say he was going to be away and we waited a while incase either he was D/C or had to restart his pc) until he had return.

He had pretty much blown a fuse and went on that he away because his little daughter had fallen over and hit her head. He then went on to say alot of means stuff (like us having no life and being incosider A holes and etc). Heck he even deliberately drop all of his loots including his rare stuff and log on (his character disspear).

No he didn't make me feel bad afterward. Yes I felt sorry that his daughter was hurt but how hard to simply click on the chatbox, type "AFK"? I would of tolatate to that extent.
He left no message and we waited long enough to assume the worse of that person.
How... how could you think like that? If someone you love hurts themselves, fuck the game and fuck the people that have the luxury of playing that game, they need your help. God damn man. It might take more effort to type something when you're panicking than you think.
Yes I have a cold logical view from that situation (and no suprised, I don't have a kid) and I apologise for thinking so.

Honestly I not exactly a believer in the whole "every second count" well for that to apply in that situation. What I mean is that he had rush off to attend to his daughter and let say if he did type "AFK" in less than 5 second (probably even faster in a hurry) and then rush off to attend to his daughter, it would of been the same result.

Before you even mention the agony of what the daughter had been through, that the thing, I have no idea how bad/ seriously the situation was. For all I know, it could of been minor but hey the guy wasn't in the right mind when he came back onto the screen to explain the situation clearly which is reasonable from his viewpoint.

Lastly no I am not that selfish to think he should of type AFK, more like he could of anticipated some opinions for being away without mentioning it to anyone, after all this is the internet/ online gaming when you're with a bunch of stranger who have no idea what you're doing in your room right now (other than surfing the net/ playing the game of course).
Well if your initial reaction to somebody disappearing for a minute is "You're a filthy fucking leech and we hate you", then yeah, you pretty much deserve any irrational response he gives back. It's not a 'cold, logical view'. It's a selfish, childish view. Logic would prioritise an injury, however tiny, over going afk on a game. If it were me in his position, I'd have told you to choke on a dick because I honestly couldn't care less about a virtual monster and his virtual treasures. He had no obligation to tell you anything of the sort, so next time, learn your priorities. I mean, shit. Maybe if the incident was all it was, but you just told this story to describe him as the kind of person who pisses you off.

So let's just put that in bold.

You hate people who prioritise their children over their videogames.

Can I change my answer to this^?

As in, statements like this irritate me more than most other things.

It doesn't matter what you're talking about, making a claim like that is essentially saying :

"This is my opinion and any who doesn't agree with it is defective in some way, because I'm perfect and thus anyone not agreeing with me is imperfect."

grr... This is why I avoid threads like this, it's bad for my blood pressure.

Have you been in Religion and Politics?
Aye. One of the few things on the net that frequently restores my faith in today's youth.

OT: Teenage girls making ugly faces and spamming them publicly in facebook, in groups. No, not on their private wall. The shit im supposed to be in like, IT-Course group created for the purpose of sharing information in that exact class and-- NGHH. The pictures are bad enough, dont get me wrong. But they could at least put them in a place where I dont have to look at them.

Maybe it's because I spend a lot of time on shady parts of the internet, but lately most the opinions on The Escapist piss me off. This site is just filled with so many libtards who believe in equality and other unrealistic shit.
But other than that, things that induce rage in me include politics, Islam, Christianity, Atheism, vegans, feminism, people who tell me I shouldn't hate things other people like, people who think guns are bad, fudds, /v/, /b/, /k/, Africa, Israel, people who think racism is only blind hatred, people who think that other people who complain about being friendzoned are having entitlement issues and people who think I can't be discriminated against because I'm a white male.
That's all I can think of right now.

We're basically Cthulhu to our meat animals. They are incapable of comprehending us, our works, or what we keep them around for. If a cow suddenly starts trying to communicate to me that it doesn't want to die, I'll stop eating meat. well, meat from cows at least.

...

I wish I had something to contribute to this topic but I don't. I've rarely encountered anything that got me into a rage or even mildly upset. I'm hardened up to all the bullshit and assholes already.

I suppose as an example I'd say animal abuse of any kind. I really like animals and I cringe whenever I hear or watch something about it.

Religion and Politics on The Escapist.

Yea, Suddenly I remembered why I don't go back there anymore.

Say one thing wrong or imply something else and they will point out every specific thing. Just like in real politics.

Oh, and the "Church" who protest soldiers funerals. That pisses me off more than anything. I'm surprised no one has "accidentally" crashed into them with an 18 wheeler.

I hear tell of a small group of people not massive fans of The Scorpion King 3.

I can't recall ever being as upset as when I found out that.

The Scorpifoes will be eliminated.
okay, we should ship 1 million diarrhea inducing poisonous scorpions to your home to make you stop talking about that movie. its not funny.

better yet (since you most likely will train them to take over the world) we should just brainwash you into thinking that this movie has already been seen by everyone. and it was boring and stupid. unlike robo geisha...
I have no idea why people have this misconception that I keep mentioning it to be funny. Fill me in?
They assume the same to me when I mention I liked Hayden Christensen as Anakin.
I actually blame it on the script (and direction). He had some okay moments in the prequels and isn't that bad in other films.
I thought the acting, script, and characterization was a masterpiece. I don't find any fault with the series at all, honestly.
Eh... I'm with you on the acting and characterization, but the scripts for Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith are pretty poor as far as writing quality is concerned. Not that the scripts for Empire Strikes Back or Return of the Jedi were that much better, but they had Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Billy Dee Williams, and James Earl Jones to carry them instead of just Ewan McGregor and the parts with Samuel Jackson. (Frank Oz and Ian McDiarmid excluded because they reprised the same roles.)

I didn't think Hayden Christensen was bad, especially considering what he was working with, but he just didn't have the same presence that Liam Neeson did in Phantom Menace, or the same chemistry with McGregor that Hamill and Ford had in the original trilogy (another thing I would personally blame on the script), so him being cast as the secondary leading man just fell a bit flat.

OT: Oh, pick any random topic about sexism around here, or just any given Youtube video at all and stroll through the comments for a few minutes and you'll probably find my answer. It'd take too long for me to try deciding on anything definitive.

You're really lowballing it, aren't you?

Isn't TF2 rated M? That's some bad parenting right there.

I going to have to go with taunts from bullies. I've been mad many times but only once have I ever been so mad that I moved to strike someone. I didn't actual hit said person, but it was literal uncontrollable rage.
