I liked the ending to Assassin's Creed. In the past the revelation at the end wasn't that obvious and the end in the present with Desmnond going "WTF?" confirmed a sequel. What's not to like?

***PLOT SPOILER***

Guy has 5 people and four bullets, so kills his son and 3 other people(saves them a horrific death), then gets out the car so he can get eaten by the monsters. US Army then drives past in a convoy.

I laughed so hard. Then i felt bad.
fuck that noise.. The book ends differently.. the world doesn't get saved, at least in the scope of the book.. everything is fucked.. I guess they couldn't have that in the movie.

Another interesting twist that made me go "wtf?" now that we're talking about Stephen King books - Dreamcatcher, at the end, it turns out that Jonesy is just a little crazy and THINKS that he's infected with alien goo, but he's really not, and the protagonist goes into Jonesy's head to help him out of his psychosis... the movie's twist was fucking weak - Duddits is an alien? lolno.

or Shayamalan's The Happening.. fuck that noise too.. Trees protest nuclear power by releasing a neurotoxin that makes people mindlessly kill themselves? Seriously? and some of the stuff passed off as "Science" in that movie made me laugh. A Science Teacher believing in the power of mood rings? A farmer actually believing that talking to plants has any effect? Outrunning the wind? The deaths weren't even that compelling. Why would trees protest Nuclear Power? Because it DOESN'T pollute the air? On that thought, as far as Trees are concerned, excessive amounts of carbon dioxide in the air is a good thing.. I mean, sure, the people die.. but that's the whole point isn't it? the trees hate the people, the people die, the trees get an environment where they can grow rapidly, tada. it's like a winwin situation for the trees.

Assassin's Creed ending, it just made absolutely NO sense
Really should have put a spoiler warning in your thread title.

Best Plot-Twist.
When Snape kills Neo with the Rosebud sleigh
You mean the neo who is actually Keyser Söze
No, The Matrix Neo.
I know that I was just trying to add another plot twist, its from the usual suspects

"Luke I am your father."

Woah did not see that one coming.
It's actually just "I am your father" He doesen't say Luke's name.

IMO the FEAR storyline had some stupid and predictable twists when your teammates die.

I have a ridiculous one. But not as in bad, it's actually really good.

In Baten Kaitos when you find out that Kalas is actually the bad guy. I really had nothing to say after this.

The clocked person in RE5 is Jill. Anyone with a brain stim would figure that out in the first two levels.

I do believe that is one of the best plot twists ever. It would be horrible to be the main character, because he reacted logically and did the humane/courageous thing by killing them quickly and waiting to be killed himself by the monsters. I mean seriously.... his wife is dead, he killed his son unnecessarily, and killed two elderly people.... that has to be traumatic.

Odd, I never thought of that.

Varian Wrynn turning out to be a Super Saiyan. (Or i'm assuming thats what he is, a badly drawn anime character with the ability to kill everything in one hit, who screams alot.)
The guy who came up with the idea of adding that haircut to the game should be shot and left to bleed to death.

The ending of Prince of Persia (Newest) is a big twist and also takes the title as the most irritating and most retarded plot twist ever, for a start it actually makes the whole game completely redundant.

OMG!
My friends and I ALL had the same reaction!
Though we didnt particularly feel bad, we kinda did for about 5 seconds and then started laughing even harder!
I didnt see it coming, but at the same time suspected that that sort of thing would happen. I kept giggling about it for about 5 minutes afterward, and when my girlfriend walks in and asks me whats so funny, I explain and get called 'a heartless bastard'...
Funny how guys and girls can have TOTALLY different views on things...
Oh well..

The plot twist in which one of your allies betrays you. These are usually the worst plot twists because it is painfully obvious that your ally was going to betray you.
You've got to be joking. That thread is from March of last year. I'd say that's plenty of excusable time before repeating an idea.
And that is a problem because........?

Just because a thread is old does not mean it is no longer valid. I find fault with your logic.

I never finished Overlord, I did the bit where you corner and capture that woman (Jewel?) then got something else to play and never went back to it. You've made me curious, who was it?

It was an old wizard, the one who was supposed to be a hero. Whenever you finish, you go into your throne room, and the wizard was sitting in your throne! Then he tells you that you were a good benchwarmer for when he got back, and now you've outlived your purpose. Then all your minions abandon you, and you have to reclaim all your minion hives to get them back.

God I hated that movie. I saw that coming a mile away. Everyone involed in that movie should be deeply ashamed.

not making sense isn't a plot twist. it's just a bad bit of storytelling.
