oh please thats like a retarded guniea pig with no eyes versus Dr manhattan...360 being the guniea pig.
i found a guy who bought a 360 5times because of rrod and still tries to convince that the pc is more expensive.TelHybrid said:Exactly. Besides, what are they typing comments on forums with? Oh yeah... a PC. How hard is it to just install a game for these people? I swear these people have trouble breathing while they eat.Furburt said:I always find that I get into the argument with 12-14 year old Xbox owners.

"Oh PCs costs thousands"... that's another one that's pathetic and laughable. I hate it when technology illiterates pretend to know what they're talking about.
I think the best 360 v. PS3 argument might be a library based one, they both have a few nice exclusive titles, they've also got a shared library, but I've never looked at the PS3 exclusives enough to really decide if it's better or worse than the 360's. Though, the gaming mice for the PS3 that I saw someplace for it did tempt me a bit. Probably the biggest hit against it though is the price.Spot1990 said:Everytime someone argues about which is better, xbox or ps. I have an xbox, not because I prefer the console but because I prefer the games. But it really annoys me when people say things like"but you can watch blu ray". That argument has nothing to do with videogames. This includes other arguments about why ps3 is so great that actually have nothing to do with gaming.
To avoid flaming, I would like a ps3, and I'd like these extras it offers but stop using them as arguments for why it is a better GAMING CONSOLE.
As far as I can remember, Robotnik has been his Western name and Eggman was his Eastern name. Robotnik I always considered to be canon due to the Sonic comics showing Sonic's 'creation', at the hands of Doctor Kintobor, [get it?]whom after another of his science experiments go wrong is transformed into the evil and twisted Doctor Robotnik. But since they tried to re-invent Sonic with Sonic Adventure, they changed his name over here to Eggman as well.SkullCap said:Sonic Fans: This has got to stop. Why do some people call him 'Eggman' anyway? WHY? How does this even exist? The man uses robots so why not keep his original title of Dr. Robotnik? This is the question one side asks while the other side refuses to keep the name and opts for 'Eggman.' It was funny at first, but now its annoying. Can't we just pick a name for this villain and keep it? Why not argue about ways you can save your favorite Blue Hedgehog franchise from going the way of Old Yeller (which is increasingly preferred amongst the majority of gamers).
Anyway, lets hear them.
The thing is it's not really more expensive. The hardware itself costs a bit more, but unless you're the sort of gamer who has to run everything on highest settings, you can make a budget custom build last years. Medium settings on a PC is is the equivalent of a console game graphically. Then you take into account the games are cheaper, and there's loads of free ones (no not piracy) that argument is kinda flawed.beholdmycape said:There's no denying that PC gaming is more expensive and more of a pain in the ass. The actual games are generally of a higher quality but configuration/compatibility issues can be annoying and they do not exist at all on consoles.TelHybrid said:Exactly. And I find easy to believe that a fuckin contard would strugle with installing a game onto a hard drive unless it had a big red 'press butan to install!!!' on the rig somewhere.
To contribute, the people that argue that you will ever make a decent FPS using any other control system than keyboard/mouse have the most ridculous argument.
Why, thank you ^_^miracleofsound said:I think being passionate enough about gaming to post on these forums pretty much cancels out any chance of you being a casual gamer.secretshadow90 said:I despise the argument that you can't be a hardcore gamer if you don't play constantly and therefore must be a casual gamer into things like cooking mama. Excuse me for doing things besides video games.

That's not really a good argument anymore. I don't know about pricing in other countries, but you can get a new PS3 in the US for $300, which is only $50 more than a 360 with a HDD. That's less than the price of a new console game.Starke said:...Probably the biggest hit against it though is the price...
I actually don't see a problem with this. If someone loves achievements that much, well... whatever. Different people get different things out of games.squid5580 said:This one is in reference to the Borderlands DLC. "What a rip off. Right back at ya , I remember the C64 vs Spectrum days(actually there's a few retro forums where that fire's still burning),nothings really changed .Bediz said:Every console vs console debate ever, including PC vs console.
C'mon guys. I'm a vet from the "Sega Genesis vs. Super Nintendo" war. Have we really not thought up any new approaches to bashing each other's preferences in the last decade or two?
I'd actually forgotten they'd come down in price, so, yeah, mybad.ComradeJim270 said:That's not really a good argument anymore.
