What is with the Bungie and Valve love!?

One of them is a company that has taken at last count almost 3 years to produce a piece of episodic content that will be about 6 hours long (don't get me wrong, ep1+2 were both great and i'm sure the 3rd won't dissapoint but it kind of ruins the whole point of 'episodic gaming').

And theres the company that released a 3 hour piece of DLC and called it (and charged accordingly as)a full game.

Who do you think is the most trustworthy game developer?

I think I am split between valve and square enix. Both have done alot for the fans. Valve has always provided the best classics, and square enix has always provided the best graphics.
Valve or Blizzard(Before Merger of course.)

Blizzard, Bethesda, and Bioware. Always. They rarely disappoint, if ever. Kinda weird too that they all start with "B."

SEGA from 1988 to 1994 and again from 1999 to 2003. Twas the Genesis and Dreamcast eras that I felt they were trustworthy. They had some of the best first-party titles around.

Squaresoft were great and so was Enix... ... ... Square Enix, not so much.

Bioware.
Blizzard.
Naughty Dog.
Insomniac.
Team Ico.
Valve.
Bungie.
Bethesda.

These are all trustworthy developers. Blizzard, Bioware, Bethesda and Valve have nearly perfect track records. Team Ico probably has the best overall critical acclaim for their games, but given that they've developed only Ico and Shadow of the Colossus (while everyone else has at least half dozen games under their belt), it's hard to say if they're capable of being consistently that good.

them and pandemic *salutes pandemic* they were the best and will be cherished and when i play their games i have a moment of silence in remembrance of them.
I should have also said 2K games, after creating Bioshock. and who are also responsible for the system shock games (which should be brought back ASAP)

and also Interplay. for the first 2 PROPER fallout games and for Earthworm Jim

The four B's; Bethesda, Bioware, Blizzard, and Bungie. Why, because non of them have ever made a bad game.

Oh yea and Dice, because battlefield is awesome.

I would have to say Nintendo.
Are really that trustworthy after the American SMB2, virtual boy, N64's deficit of good 3rd party support, The Zelda tease at Space world in 2000, the GameCube lagging behind the PS2 and Xbox, and the fail that is friend codes?

Again!? None of the above because they can all go wrong.

Bethesda destroyed my positive outlook when they made Oblivion
Bioware destroyed it when they made Dragon Age: Origins
Valve did when they made everything but Portal

Every game developer will fail once. Best to be ready for it.
