Most UN-original game?

Pretty much every sports game in the past 10 years. With only some roster updates and minor gameplay changes its a wonder each reiteration is so popular.

Agreed. The last few FIFA games have had diabolical advertising campaigns because of how little new ideas they have.

The main feature in the ads a few years back was that you could erm choose the teams to play against each other even if they aren't in the same league. You've been able to do that for decades!

The latest I remember was "This Is The Season..." Okay, what about the last 15 games that have been released?

I am waiting for them to just run with "You can now score goals!"

At the time, there were only a handful of games where you "Saved the Princess". At the time Zelda was pretty original.

Saints Row 2,

A GTA clone without shame that improves on its own systems so well that it's almost a better game than GTA 4. It doesn't have an original bone in its body though.

I'll agree with you that Saints Row 2 is a GTA clone, but you have to admit it's a pretty good game

Admit it's a good game? Hell yes I admit it's a good game, I, like Yahtzee, have probably had the most raw FUN with Saints Row 2 last year and even into this year.

As well, as Jamash noted, there ARE actually original elements, like all of the activities which are insanely fun. Just overall it just reaks of Grand Theft Auto, especially when one looks at GTA 1 and 2, which were mostly crazy, wacky fun complete with the crazy jobs like murdering pizza delivery boys for an insane mob boss. Though Saints Row definately does it better.

I beg to differ, EA was the primary creator of Mirrors Edge, which is pretty damn unique.

It is actually not that unique. I see it as a rip off of Breakdown which was also a full first person fight shooter thing. Sure it is more fluid and faster that Breakdown, but meh.

I am also so sick of people hating on Halo so damn much. "It's overrated, it's unoriginal, blah blah blah."

So from NOW ON. ALL POPULAR GAMES ARE OVERRATED AND UNORIGINAL

Gears of War? Unoriginal and overrated

Dead Space, Resident Evil, Dead Rising, Mario, Zelda, Grand Theft Auto, Duke Nukem, Metal Gear Solid, Super Smash Bros, Mortal Kombat, Fable, Call of Duty, World of Warcraft, Mega Man, Twisted Metal, et cetera All overrated and unoriginal.

According to the gaming population, the ONLY game that is not unoriginal and not overrated is Pac-Man.

I think the most unoriginal game is Gnop!. It's Pong with the title spelled backward.

Hi and greetings from finland! To the question: all EA Sports games. period. Some unique ones i like we´re Okami and Ico. and yea, super mario brand is pretty much used up. first mario is legend, but doing countless spin-off´s is too much for me.
