Most UN-original game?

I'd like to disagree with that, but that isn't the point of this topic. Anyways, I'd say any sports game such as Madden would be the most unoriginal. It's the same game every time.

"Unique" might be a strong term, but I think we can agree that games of that type (not FPSs, just FPSs of that type) were a bit less ubiquitous at the time.

You are right... Mirror's Edge & Dead Space were original concepts but Mirror's Edge was really DICE, not EA........ It's like saying that Activision is inventive for making Modern Warfare, but really it was Infinity Ward

This entire gen of gaming pretty much, i havent seen anything truely original to come out of this generation, sure, there have been some small innovations but nothing major.

other than Bioshock,and some other 360 and xbox(not 360 the original xbox)games,everything has been done before. It's the EVIL corperation,Evil power hungry dictator or EVIL takeing over the world aliens.
Is that all the Ideas for games out there?

If your trying to portray sarcasm you kinda fail, seeing as you quite obviously didnt know about System Shock 2, and calling Bioshock the only original game is kinda redundant, its one of the better ones, yeah, but its not innovative at all.

A GTA clone without shame that improves on its own systems so well that it's almost a better game than GTA 4. It doesn't have an original bone in its body though.

I am going to be swarmed by fanboy hatred for this but the most un original game for me personally (at least the one with the simple premise) has to go to the very first super mario brothers. Oh sure it's very fun but ultimatley all you are doing in this game is jumping around on platforms. Like every other game in the eight bit era come to think of it.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl, becuase it didn't have any "original" conten to speak of.

As much as I hate Brawl it did have some original content, the Smash Balls and some other weapons were something different and what other game has had a option to create your own stage? It's also the first fighting game that got rid of all the best aspects of the gameplay!

Mario games have been done to death. It's fun the first couple of times, but... :/

I disagree, all the games have made some slight changes and had different obastacles to cover. I own all the Mario games and I enjoyed them all!

Create your own stage? Maybe you should play the freeware game chaosfaction. It is like Smash Bros. but includes customisable characters and ninjas.

oh and Fallout 3 seems fairly original in that it includes almost no cutscenes, giving the impression that you as the player actually have some impact, which is what every Western RPG attempts.

Having never played Smash Bros. Brawl I am not going to pass judgement.

Sorry, it is 2D, but hey, at least you can create a composite of a pirate, ninja, sumo and robot.

Guitar Hero: World Tour. It rips off Rock Band & Rock Band 2 so hard it makes me laugh. I mean, it honestly added only 3 things to gameplay. Creating songs, open strum and that purple line that connects notes. It would have been a great game if they wouldn't have rushed everything.

Actually, the Smash Balls are just from Power Stone on the Dreamcast. You had to collect 3 Power Stones to transform into a stronger version of your character that had 2 over powered attacks. Create-a-stage has been overdone since the N64/PS1 era.
