Monster Rancher 2, E.V.O Evolution, Harvest moon, Wing Commander 3.

Monster Rancher 2 is #1 for me though. What a great game, #4 was pretty damn good and saw complex idea's that worked well (like an explore map that you actually played in as your monsters and fought wild monsters for exp...but #5 shat the bed. Nobody talks about Monster rancher games though. Turning your favorite games and music cd's into specific moneters you gain experiance, and different moves with. Awesome.

EVO was the original spore, but everyone forgets. THATS how Spore should have been, only more combo's with specific moves depending on the combo you use. Instead, spore had lots of combo's of parts, but none of them made very much of a difference.

Harvest moon...Nobody talks about this, but since snes this franchise has been a cult favorite. Rune factory is a good cousin that also had the same idea but no acclaim.

Wing commander 3 had a good character line up, great graphics, a good branching story and fun space fighting. I could never figure out the last level, but man was it a fun game. Once again, nobody talks about that game.

I doubt anyone will say it or agree, but Runescape....I know I know, it's like a sin to enjoy that game, but I did, for awhile, and every once in awhile I still go back to it so leave me alone....
I played it and enjoyed it a bit, so I know where your coming from, but I'd still rather waste my time on something else.

Two JRPGs that I think are the most underrated and under-appreciated games of all time:

Vagrant Story for the PS1
Lufia 2: Rise of the Sinistrels for the SNES

Both games suffered greatly from being released near the end of their console's life, and if you're a fan of RPGs you owe it to yourself to play both of them.

Harry Potter Quidditch World Cup! YEAH!

Better than Half Life 2, The Legend of Zelda series, the Halo series, both Modern Warfares, and Team Fortress 2 combined.

[sub]Totally kidding. But it WAS fun.[/sub]

Shadow the hedgehog was awesome. The controls were not good, and their were other problems, But I loved this game. Their is so much choice to this game, and even if this game has plot holes and things that are just stupid, I enjoy the diffrent paths, missions, and stories that played out. Plus I feel so good that I beat that game, got all the weapons, paths, and endings, including the true ending.

Far Cry 2 recives a lot of hate, but I loved the shit outta that game.

Also, I rarely hear people mention AoE III, but that was a fantastic game. Under-rated to say the least!

Recently would be Ontamarama and Nostalgia for the DS.
The Dark Spire is also good old school fun! (Hard as heck!)
I thought they were quite good really!

Monster Rancher 2 is very addictive and awesome!

Ristar is a noteworthy mention, as well as Alien Storm and the Rocket night games on the megadrive.

Mega bomberman is my favourite in the series!

I have a few underrated games I either loved or enjoyed. Mirror's Edge, TNA Impact, The Godfather 2, Bully: Scholarship Edition, and Rollercoaster Tycoon (whole series).

Perfect Dark Zero

Yeah, the story was stupid and it was nowhere near as good as the original. But you have to admit, it did have some great level design, an enjoyable soundtrack, and overall fun gameplay.

Metal Amrs: Glitch In The System.

It's a really good and enjoyable 3rd-person shooter. I honestly don't see why it didn't get the attention it properly deserves.

Has anyone said Star Ocean 2 yet? Because if not, I would like to submit that for consideration.

It has a story I honestly enjoyed and characters who I genuinely grew to love, moreso than pretty much any entry in the Final Fantasy series (VI and Tactics being my big exceptions), and a main hero who didn't run around acting like a dope and making everything worse for everyone, a la Squall from FFVIII.
