Just as the titles says my fellow men/women. I would say the Dothack series( the first one, not GU) and Twisted Metal series.

Of all time? Hell, I don't know. Maybe Zombies Ate My Neighbors. That was a fun game that doesn't get much recognition.

Of this year, I'd say Nier.

AaAaAA!!! - A Reckless Disregard for Gravity.

Plummeting through a futuristic Boston while flipping off protesters is very fun. Granted, some of the levels are a bit frustrating, but in a good way; it makes the thrill of seeing the next level all the sweeter for the work it took.

It would have to be Search Bar, I love that game but no-one seems to know about it.

me too but I would possibly consider Gungrave over Nier...
The hell is Gungrave?

*googles*

Oh yeah. But that game came out in 2002. I mentioned Nier for this year only. I said ZAMN for all time ^_^

But Gungrave also made one of the best and horribly underrated anime shows of all time in my opinion... but than again I've never played ZAMN so for all I know it was the second coming of Jesus...

Brutal Legend seems to get a lot of hate. You can't really say it's the game's fault that you were disappointed because you didn't know what freaking genre it was.

EDIT: Also Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II. Yeah a lot got cut, but it's still really fun and I've found myself actually replaying it more than KotOR I.

Star Control 2.

I have seen it show up on a list of "Best of" reviews, but I've failed to meet anyone who's ever played it.

I've said it once and I shall continue to say it, even when I die I'll still somehow say this in reply to the question asked.

Viva Pinata is so under-rated it actually makes my mind hurt when I think about how ignored it is. It is in no ways a kid game at all. It's tough, it's challenging and it's just all round amazing fun. Sure, it might have cutesy graphics but it's superbly addicting and a must own for anybodies 360.

Eh, it's far from that. It's good though. Like a combination of Dead Rising and Super Ghouls and Ghosts. Came out for the SNES and I still play it to this day.

Fallout 3..... Oh underrated.

Ah sorry bout that...

Emmmmmmmmmm

Phantom dust for my money.

Such a fantastic story. A fuckin awesome game. And really pretty good graphics for it's time... I bet about 2 people who read this have even heard about it.
Judging by your probation coupled with your post, you REALLY hate Fallout 3, don't you?

OT: Baten Kaitos. It does fall for a couple of the pitfalls of JRPGs but overall they are really good games.
