What is the most unfair fight you've had in a game. Ya know, where you look at what you have to face and just think "oh come on! this is fucking impossible and you know it game!"

Mine, or at least the one I can currently remember, is a fight with the Boss of the Brotherhood in Saints Row 2. On a small-ish roof. I only had a pistol (my machine gun ammo was embedded in the bodies of his 5 million henchman) and he had a fucking MINIGUN! Not to mention I was gaming on 'Hardcore' difficulty, and on that difficulty a round or two of pistol ammo can kill you so...yeah. Minigun-weilding tattoo badass versus skinny British guy with handgun. You do the math.

Fuck you Saints Row 2! If I didn't love you so damn much I'd walk out that door and NEVER come back!

Someone didn't do enough activities to unlock infinite ammo!

OT:

Optional bosses in the Star Ocean and Battle Network games are fucking evil. All of them.

Ethereal Queen ftw!

I'll have to say Freya from SO:Til the End of Time.
When she starts spamming Ether Strike.
Good times.

The British Lightweights in GT5. They have Lotus Elises, I have a McLaren F1. Though despite this absurd advatange, my B-Spec driver got 7th place with the car.

The first fight against the lizard main baddie in Dark Forces: Jedi Knight 2. Note: You did not have any Force capabilities or lightsaber in this one.

For setting a deliberately hopeless fight that would trigger you to develop your talents, it was one of those effective game mechanic uses that Extra Credits lauds so much. You're so used to being the superhuman badass it comes as quite a shock.

The two big green horn-mouthed dino-guys in KoTOR 1 on Korriban. I have problems with just one of those giant walking balls of death.

To this day, I can't get past those guys without using stealth or the door trick.

The sniper duel in Call of Duty: World at War on higher difficulties. You have to hit him multiple times to take him down, and he can move quick enough that you can completely miss him. Plus, his shots can hit you before you can hear them, and it only takes one to hit you (which he will, if you are even an inch out of cover).

Very frustrating. Also, any time you fight a Praetorian in Mass Effect 2 on Insanity.

In final fantasy 3 (ds remake) i had that game for a month or two tho i was stuck at the third (or so thought to be) boss, which was Bahumut. It took me forever to find out that i was suppose to run away... kinda sad but i was a newbie when i first played that game.

In fallout3 when i was just starting the game, and was level 3 i think. I stumbled across a group of super mutants. 1 with a minigun, 1 stockpiled with grenades, and the rest with hunting rifles and assault rifles. All I had was a 10mm. pistol with hardly any ammo and protected only by the vault jumpsuit. It's a miracle I didn't just give up on that game forever.

My game of fallout 2 glitched so instead of a rabid mister handy with everything crippled, mine was at full capacity. A spear and positive thinking NEVER beats buzzsaw
