Ha, compare that to the energy weapon in the first game that had enough ammo (and was accurate enough) to become most people's main sniper. Of course, the first game was a lot better in general, so whatever.Lamppenkeyboard said:That one energy gun that vaporized people in FEAR 2. You got like, ten shots for it throughout the game, and never when it would be most useful.
I'm so cheap with ammo in that game, I probably stock up at least >100 bullets for any other gun before I will allow myself to switch from the pistol. haha probably unecessary, because I always end with like 3000 bullets for everything and nothing else in the game to complete.will1182 said:Did anyone really use the 10mm pistol in Fallout 3 at all after getting another weapon? So you're the kind of guy who just argues with everyone for the sake of it despite being wrong? How do I know you are wrong? Proven wrong? Simple. The 10mm pistol has the almost the lowest damage of all the handguns. So flat out it is worse than at LEAST 10% of the small guns and basically all of the energy weapons and heavy weapons. Pretty simple. Anyone who sticks with the 10mm is only hurting themselves.TheSquirrelisKing said:Spam the small guns skill. VATS headshot. 1 hit kill on almost everything every time. The ammo is super cheap, and that's when you aren't finding bucket loads of it everywhere. I highly disagree with your statement, if played right it's a game breaker.will1182 said:Did anyone really use the 10mm pistol in Fallout 3 at all after getting another weapon? The 10mm still deals enough damage to kill things and ammo is stupidly easy to find so you just point and shoot until it is dead. Repairing it is super cheap too.spinFX said:-snip-Pretty simple. So by your logic any gun in the game is a game breaker.
Did anbody use the bb gun after getting that pistol?will1182 said:Did anyone really use the 10mm pistol in Fallout 3 at all after getting another weapon? Compared to most other guns, it's a pea shooter.
Call me a rebel but those were very useful, unlike grenades for me.commandersqwigly said:fallout 3 mines
I got the strongest horse, outfitted it with plate.electric_warrior said:That's pretty much it actually, yeah. it's such a hassle to keep a track of them and keep them alive and they cost so much that unless I just happened upon one i tended to avoid them altogether. even shadowmere, which I lost after and hour or two after it wandered off.-Drifter- said:Probably because A) You can easily fast travel just about anywhere and B) Even if you don't, it only takes about an hour to get from one side of the map to the other on foot (less if you have decent athletics skill.) Also, they have a tendency to run away/die when attacked, and you can't fight from their backs. In other words, they're a huge waste of money, though there's not much else to spend it on anyway.
