What is the most useless feature in a game, ever? It can be anything from a single concept to a whole entire level, or something that you only do once. For me, it would have to be the whole back-storyline to Assassin's Creed. It could have been fun without it, I'm just not sure why they felt the need to put it in there. In features though, it would have to be just at the end of Kung Fu Panda (yes, I'm achievement hunting...) You're fighting the Big Bad, and suddenly the entire game slows down and about a dozen arrows shoot at you. Of course, this would be fine if the game hadn't already been based around QTEs, and this seems to just be another one. That, and the fact that there is only one such thing like this in the game and I think it's just useless.

The Map in Dead Space, it's confusing and useless especially when you can just hit the right analog stick and BOOM the path is shown.

The radio thingy from DeadRising. It could've just as easily been a little HUD pop-up thing that told you about what was going on in the mall.

Screw you Otis, I don't want to talk to you.

grabbing chickens in crysis
Wasn't really a "feature" though was it? Sure, they made chickens grabable, but that was most likely because a lot of other shit was grabable as well.

After a short while of thinking, I'll go for farting and burping in GTA2.

The map in Prince of Persia: Warrior Within.

Showing me a picture of a huge castle from the outside does not make a map.

In a gameplay perspective, agree its useless. But for a character perspective it is fucking perfect!

Chicken kicking in Fable, not only can you do it but it keeps track of your personal best.
Useless but fun. Like chicken spaming in the 2d Zelda games.
