Personally, not a fan of Halo 3 Splazer. It's useful in vehicle hunting, yeah. But just as a man killer. Meh

I agree, But I had a lot offun with it. Usually 1-shot kill with that weapon. also, I used it against elite, and with a headshot its pretty useful.

The weapon was meant to penetrate armor, and against 1 person at a time, and I think it did its job rather well.

I don't believe it was supposed to be an uber-weapon. Just another choice for the player. So if it doesn't work for you, no loss.

I'll give you a cool but crap one though. The chinese pistol in Fallout 3 sounded, and looked pretty good. I can't understand why it was implemented into the game however. You had better chance throwing sand at your enemy.

You know what gun I used the most? The 1-hit kill weapon. It was a pistol.

A lot of the big guns in Saints Row 2. Once I had Cobra Pistols I never needed anything else ever. Sniper rifles, rocket launchers etc just sat around taking up space.

The Spartan Laser (Halo) is fine to use in the campaign, but in mulitplayer I couldn't hit someone if they had no arms or legs and were tied down.

The Rocket launcher in Fallout 3 is pretty useless since it is easily trumped by the Fat Man.

You mean the Farsight? Dude, you could shoot THROUGH walls with that. Hell I used to hide out in a tower, crouch down, and snipe the entire map through anything.

YOU LIE. The rocket launchers melee attack was slower then a snail stuck in molasses in January in Alaska, rendering it completely useless when facing anything more than the broken door on the Autumn.

I also just used a planet buster in spore, really isn't that useful when you have the entire galaxy declaring war on you.
To make it worse, my last save was 4 to 5 hours ago.

Eridian guns in Borderlands, they were very underwhelming to me. Yes, they have unlimited ammo, but it takes forever to recharge them and they aren't particularly harmful....

3 shot clip, slow reload, instant down splash damage when it hits ANYTHING next to you, which is all the time. I heard the upgrade is better, but I usually dont have it by then.

The scarab gun in Halo 2. It's annoying to use because if you're within a hundred metres of its blast radius you die. Not to mention how hard it is to get the bloody thing for just half a level.

I enchanted my Deadric Armour with feather spells and was able to carry another 400 units of weight on me.

Imperial Dragon armour... now there's a piece of useless shit.

Not necessarily. I always switch it for the Plasma Rifle at the first opportunity, because plasma weapons generally work much better on shields and on the Flood. Plus, automatic fire FTW. Gets even better in Halo 2 and 3 with dual wield... :)
Yeah, the Pistol is terrible against shielded Elites. I usually use a Pistol/Plasma Rifle combo so I have sometime to take their shields down.

One thing that's great about the original Halo is that every gun has its place, with the arguable exception of the Needler (but it's a cool design, so whatever).

I can't really think of an ubergun, but I've been playing a lot of Jade Empire lately. The way that game is set up, the late game styles aren't really any better than the starting/early game stuff. So you might get a style and think, "wow, this is going to own everything!" but then you realize your starting style was just better. My first playthrough I powered through with White Demon and Paralyzing Palm, because everything else sucked by comparison.
