Pirates of the Caribbean, the first one. While the relation to the game is merely 2, or maybe 3 encounters in the game, and the rest is the followup to the also amazing Sea Dogs, it still sort of counts as a movie game, and it's one of the best games out there, not even when compared only to it's own cathegory.

AvP 2 and the expansion pack were pretty cool as well.

I'm also putting my vote towards Spiderman 2. I have many fond memories of that game...

While the ire towards movie games in general is well deserved, now and then one comes out that's decent enough to actually be worth playing. This is a thread about those ganmes. Since Goldeneye is such an obvious answer, I'd prefer that you only name it if you can't think of anything else.

I don't know what the general consensus is (or indeed, if anyone else has even played it) but I really liked the Kong 2005 King Kong movie game. It was an interesting game, not really a survival horror but a survival shooter. They ways they worked around having a HUD were cool too, like having your character say how much ammo he had remaining.
Escape from Butcher Bay is the best example of these game, such a fun one that was...

Old school Aladdin game on the Genesis, not much too it really but I play the hell outta that game.

Escape from Butcher Bay, imo, is the best game based of a movie.

This may not really count but I think the Kingdom Hearts games have done a amazing job mixing in the Disney movies.

Star Wars Episode I Racer - rather hard to screw that up really

Klingon Honor Guard - again, perfect sense for an FPS, and hard to screw up

Both of those aren't really movie games as much as they are games that would work well with movie trappings

I'd say GoldenEye 007, but that'd be too obvious.

I'd have to go with the super star wars series for the good ol' SNES

From personal experience, these have all been mentioned but Spiderman was one of the first PS2 games I got and that was great. Lord of the Rings: Return of the King was also great fun, and Star Wars Episode 3 Revenge of the Sith was good in my opinion as well. Think I might go play that now...
Also Enter the Matrix was blindingly fun and makes you feel amazingly badass.
Obviously Star Wars Battlefront.

This too.

Also, Jurassic Park on the NES was incredible. One of my favourite games when I was a littl'un. Aladdin on the Megadrive was awesome too.

Oooh I've got a cracker: Goldeneye 007
and yes.... yes you do. but i still want to say that Toy Story 2 video game was absolutely awesome. why were PS1 games so good? probably because i was younger at the time. I also remember a game based off a kids cartooon show, the rugrats game, being beyond awesome... again, probably just faded memories and all that.
I hope Toy Story 3 game is as good as the second one.

I really liked 007: Everything Or Nothing, technically not a movie game but it really did feel like the james Bond Experiance. It had good level varation and the takedowns you could perfrom made me feel pretty baddass. Also lots of replayability, having to play on increased difficulty levels to unlock more powerful gadgets.
