You know, they really should make Star Wars episodes 1 and 2. I don't really understand why they only made 3-6. I mean, 3 was alright and 4-6 was awesome, but episode 1 should be great, right?

Prince of Persia never knocked up Uncharted inside a water painting

P.S: it's always pissed me off that they never show us Anakin as a kid, that would be great irony. I mean, as long as they don't create a repulsive child gagger with stupid Dumbo ears or anything, but Lucas wouldn't do that

ok. I definitely agreed with:
There is no star wars prequel trilogy.
There are no sequels to The Crow

BUT. they also never re-made HeMan (and gave him a surfer's hair-do) or Astro Boy (and take his backstory away... you always knew where he came from and so did he!!)
oh, and in Transformers Bumblebee was always A VW Beetle....

I'm glad there was never a sequel to the Matrix. The Wachowski Bros. really knew not to touch a masterpiece.

I also think it's weird that they decided to make Final Fantasy XIII while skipping XII and XI.

But what I really wonder is why there has been no new Zelda game since Wind Waker.......

There can be only one Highlander movie!

....sorry. Had to.

Anyway, I personally can't think of anything that I refuse to take as part of a franchise. On the flip side, though, there are those who seem to think that there were Batman movies featuring Adam West. Dumbasses.

It's a pity they never finished the last 2 movies of the Star Wars prequel trilogy (ok episode 1 wasn't great but at least it had a Star Wars plot).

Sean Connery was in the last Indiana Jones movie.

The Matrix ended after the original.

None of the Beatles ever had solo careers.

Green Day stopped making albums after Nimrod.

The only Sonic games were on the Genesis and the Dreamcast.

ODST was an excellent 3 hour expansion pack to Halo 3, not a 6 hour game with 3 hours of good missions and 3 hours of map reading.

Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis were the only Stargate series.

I'll probably think of more later.

I wonder why they never actually made a sequel to Deus Ex - it's one of the best FPS/RPG games in existence and it didn't merit a sequel? Silly developers!
They did.

EDIT: Just realized how much of an idiot I am.
They are making a new 3rd 2nd one soon though!

I am Legend never had a remake with Will Smith.
Yeah, I Am Legend could be a really great movie, a real study in isolation and justified paranoia. Really the only way to screw such an easy concept up would be to make it some sort of idiotic blockbuster!

Imagine how stupid and pointless that film would be if the vampires were just monsters and not articulate and intelligent maniacs? Ha! Why such a thing would render the main twist of the book obsolete!

Good thing we don't live in such a world. Now I'm off to play Duke Nukem Forever! man that game is BLOWING MY MIND!!!

#1 "Hardcore" Zelda fans won't acknowledge that there was ever a cel shaded child version of Link.
Every Zelda fan in the world claims the CD-I games don't exist, and with good reason.

Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel was treated similarly. Apparently it sucked or something. I've never played it, so I can't say.

I think it poisoned me.

In my adventures across alternate Earth I discovered that there was a Zelda game called Twilight Princess. My thoughts on it are mixed; on one hand, it starts out horribly generic and has boring fetch quests (though it momentarily picks up for the second dungeon), but on the other it got incredibly epic somewhere between the 3rd and 4th dungeons, only dipping some in the 6th. Overall, with some tweaking and more retention of Zelda's general feel, it would be quite good to release back home. I wish I had such positive words for those DS things I ran across.

More negatively, though, I learned that the Sci-fi channel is called "Syfy" in this world, and that Haruhi had a botched second season, not to mention Nanoha having a rather poorly-paced third. Really, I have learned why this universe is locked away like it is..

A few people I've heard of have suggested Atlantis as a better subject. Funny thing is, Atlantis was presumed to be a highly advanced civilisation I'm willing to bet people would still ***** about it saying that its too "sci-fi" to be Indy or something.
No, they just didn't want to infringe on the marvelous adventure game's territory.

Seriously, look this sucker up. It's one of the first fully voiced games, too.

Anyway...

I've said this many times: Kingdom Hearts 2 does not exist. The game Square published in 2005 is a sick, sick joke and the REAL sequel to Kingdom Hearts will no doubt be released sometime in 2012 for the PS3.

That's what I wish I could tell myself anyway. *shakes head*

Well... two come to mind.
Starship Troopers 2 and 3.
Specifically number 3. It wasn't a Starship Troopers film.
It was an advertising campaign for religion.
And that kinda finished the job that the second film started...
Only the first one was good. The second had its good parts, though few they were.
Three, basically none...
This, the third one was like a C-rated movie, it gave me the urge to hunt down who ever sold the franchise (And Stage 6)
