Anchorman. My brother and I almost got in a fight because I told him I hate this movie. Will Ferrell is tearing families apart! Damn him!

Transformers... the best bit was that Megan Fox is hot... and i'm a straight girl.
Every chick flick ever.
All the Star Wars movies.
You hit the nail on the head with the Transformers thing, I agree completely. But my undying love for you at that point managed to die when you mentioned that you dislike Star Wars.

Star Wars is the greatest mover ever....right guys? Right?
Lol, I didn't say they were bad, just I couldn't understand the hype surrounding them, nor why they needed to make the first(last?){1,2,3} ones.
And another one I remembered, WALLE.
Ha, I'm glad you didn't say bad and chose to keep it opinionated. For that, I'm very grateful. But does anyone really NEED to do anything? Did they really NEED to make another X-men movie after the first one was god awful? Did they really need to make FOUR MOTHERFUCKING SCARY MOVIES (seriously, those annoy me more than anything)?

I for one enjoyed the Prequel Trilogy and will stand by my convictions until they burn me at the stake for the crime of heresy.

I myself don't really watch films, so I can't say.

My girlfriend suggested Fight Club, a film she can't stand. I guess I can see why.

I get panned about this, but I didn't really care for Star Trek. While it does an excellent job of bringing Star Trek into the modern era, it loses the touch that it originally had. The casting department is a bit of a mix. While Scotti and Harold-i mean-Zulu are excellently casted for their roles and Zachary Quinto does an ok job as Spock, Chris Pine cannot hold the important role as Kirk as he sensically seems stuck in a "High School Play" mode and Uhura doesn't seem to be given much of a script to work on. While the average person may enjoy the omages and spiritually succeeded lines (I'm a doctor, not a physicist!), they sort of came off a bit awkward to me and seemed shoved in the already poor script. While J.J. Abrams has definetly grown from the days of Cloverfield, the whole entire movie seems to have been given the "Star Wars Prequel" treatment, a la high production values, huge effects, long action scenes; While it comes MUCH LESS BRUISED then the star wars prequels, it still feels that it doesn't retain the magic that made Wrath of Kahn and Undiscovered Country so good.

300 comes off a bit pretentious in execution from the monochrome filter to the immensely "epic" scripting to the slowdown effects in action sequencing all wrapped into what tries to be "art".

Old School, Superbad, Wedding Crashers, 40 Year Old Virgin, and other comedies like that.

I hate this new wave of American comedy.

Forrest Gump. I have no idea why people rave about it, I couldn't sit through the whole thing. I just found it really annoying. And you know exactly what you get in a box of bloody chocolates because they always put a map on it showing which chocolate is which!

300.

The dialogue was horrible and the whole movie was just shirtless men screaming the whole time. Plus, knowing about Sparta's history, I find it hilarious that Spartans are fighting to save freedom or for their wives.

Anchorman just was not funny and didn't make any sense

Ironman was okay for the origins to the suit part and stuff but then just kinda wrapped itself up so quickly

The Dark Knight -> My overhype-o-meter freaking exploded
Superbad -> Not funny. Just... Not. Funny.
The Matrix -> I dunno, not my cup of tea.

idk, i kind of appreciated the "art" aspect of it. all though it didn't pull it off as well as Sin City in my opinion.

Lord of the Rings trilogy. Bad acting, predictable plot, terrible character design (and I'm not anti-fantasy, but this was just STUPID), visible computerized SFX (ok, Gollum had interesting facial expressions. But the way he appeared was just reminescent of Who Framed Roger Rabbit?. and so on. Only thing I liked were the landscapes.
uuuummmmmmm . . . are you shitting me? Did you not realize that the movie was based on a book? Not only a book but a book that might as well be the basis for the entire fantasy genre of the last 20 years. I guess the storyline was predictable if you predicted that the ring got destroyed in the end, but otherwise it was a truly fantastic movie that as far as i'm concerned, deserved all the praise it got.

I liked Borat and most Will Ferrel movies. I hated Napoleon Dynamite, one of my friends said that you had to watch it twice to get the jokes and I replied with "I hated it the why would I waste another 2 hrs. on it." I also enjoyed The Watchmen and the only nit I have to pick is 99 Red Balloons that song was so out of place.
P.S. I actually wanted to see that film again

I gotta say, Juno was not as amazing as my entire freaking family thinks it is. It's cute, sure, but I suppose I'm not deep enough to understand its amazingness or whatever. It killed time well, it was pretty amusing, but I didn't like it.
