Walk Hard: the Dewey Cox story. I saw the previews and said, wow, talk about stupid, but then I thought to myself, "now wait a minute. You said "White Chicks" looked stupid as hell, and turned out to be very funny, you should give this film the same chance" so i did, and and it turned out to not be an exception like white chicks was.
I never...ever...thought i would hear anyone say that whitechicks was funny. That movie was so epically retarded that I couldn't even sit through it when I watched it for free, expecting a bad movie. Just my opinion I guess, but I am pretty sure any movie with the wayans brothers should not be funded by anyone.

But on topic, I will give my list of let downs:

1. I am Legend (in my mind, Will Smith isn't talented enough to play a movie where he is the only cast member, that is more of a Tom Hanks thing)
2. Transformers (Michael Bay wins biggest Douche of the Universe award every year, yet people still rave about his shit movies...)
3. Anything by M. Night Shamylan (spare 6th Sense)
4. Howard the Duck (a bit of an oldy, but when I was growing up, people thought this movie was great for some reason)

I could go on, but alas I grow sleepy
2.

I can't help but dislike the movies by Quentin Tarantino. They just don't do it for me. The movies might have a lot of gore, and he shoots scenes all differently than any other producer. But it's just not working for me.

How can I not like it? Very simply, and very aggressively. I could go in to depth about how I hate the new look of the transformers, or about how it took about an hour and a half before the movie got to the actual "robot-vs.-robot" fighting. I could talk about how the transformers needed the help of humans to win basically EVERY fight, or about how they horribly dropped the ball by not having Starscream (the most charismatic character ever) say a bloody line. I could talk about all that, but I don't need to. All I need to do is say one line; one sentence that raped my childhood, uttered by the talentless Shia theBeef.

"There's more than meets the eye to you"

This classic line...degraded to a pick-up line?! RABBLERABBLERABBLERABBLERABBLERABBLERABBLERABBLERABBLE!

Besides, he flirted with my Megan Fox!

Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story
Sideways
The Village (This movie marks the transition between Groundbreaking Shamylan and Desperate Shamylan in my opinion)
If you're gonna try and make a fancy statement, learn how to spell first; it's Shyamalan.
No need to be a dick, so I misspelled Shamalamadingdong's name, it's not the end of the world. And I do agree with you about Dodgeball, that movie was completely overrated, I saw it in the theatre, I wish I could have gotten my money back.

What do you guys think about Semi-Pro, some of my friends think it's great, I haven't seen it yet and I'm not as excited to see Will Ferrell in another ridiculous wig as some people may be.
Sorry dude I just re-read that and I didn't mean to sound like such a twat. (I can get a bit snobbish about films as I'm doing a degree in film and one of my assignments was based on Shyamalan's and James Newton Howard's collaboration)

And what you're saying about Semi-Pro I completely agree with. I don't get the appeal of Will Ferrell, again he more annoys me than anything else. Anchorman was another film that most of my friends claim "I don't get it/don't understand it". Anything with eyes can understand the jokes in the film, for me though they're just too obvious.

Three Kings and the "new" planet of the apes.

Both of these films were just so very bad.

I really hate the phrase 'raped my childhood'. Is your enjoyment of the old Transformers diminished by the Live-Action movie? Can you not bring yourself to look Optimus in the eye any more?

I can understand not liking the new look of the Transformers. I was hesitant as well, at first, but I decided that as long as the spirit was the same, I would be happy, and let's face it, Transformers was never that deep. It was always 'Good Robots vs Bad Robots' and the movie had that by the bucketful.

If nothing else, this highlights the difficulty of translating a property from one medium to another. It's a very fine line between keeping existing fans happy, and making it accessible enough to appeal to new audiences.

Back on topic, I didn't enjoy either of the Kill Bill movies. I watched them both thinking 'I should be enjoying this', but thanks to Tarantino's direction, I couldn't get into it.

War of the Worlds. Another good movie ruined by the pointless addition of kids. Oh, and Tom Cruise.

I was forced to sit through the "meet the spartans" movie. After 10 minutes I wanted to gouge my eyes out. Also Epic movie was pretty bad(with that I mean one of the worst movies in exitance)
