I didn't like Hard Candy.

I got bored about 20 minutes in and stopped watching after an hour.

Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow. Let's not get hasty. Hard Candy was a brilliant movie.

Sorry, but I really didn't like it. Not for the subject matter or certain surgical actions taken, I just really didn't connect to it at all. I wasn't drawn in or interested by the story.

Napoleon Dynamite. everyone at my school thought it was the funniest thing ever, i tried to watch it and i can only get to the llama part and i have to change the channel or i fear my brain might explode due to massive amounts of pure stupid.
This one. I hated this movie to the point where, in media class, when it came up for possible selesction, I got up to walk out. It ended up not getting voted in, though so I was safe... um... I also didn't like Spider-Man 2. I liked one, mostly 'cause it was campy, but two got way too serious on us. I didn't bother with 3.

Blade Runner, Anything by Quentin Tarantino, Cloverfield and Miami Vice sucked. They were all just so boring, specially Miami Vice It would be on my top ten worst movies ever.

I could add more but I can't remember them.

I just watched Blade Runner at last after I heard it was supposed to be some kind of Sci-Fi cult classic and I was thoroughly bored all the way through. Fair enough it had an interesting theme, examining what is really classed as humanity and mortality, but it was just a total snooze-fest. From the plot synopsis I was expecting a little more action and a little less nothing happening. Definitely the worst Ridley Scott film I've seen.
Just to defend it a little: You may have seen the director's cut. Scott completely screwed up with the director's cut. In the original theatrical release, Ford's character has an entertaining monologue that turns the movie into a futuristic Film-Noir. It explains the story, and gives the viewer something to do during all the scenes where nothing is happening and there's no talking. With the director's cut, there's too much dead time, and no insight into Deckard (Ford's character). Until recently it was impossible to find the original.

It's also possible you just didn't like the movie. ;)

Now, the most disappointing movie for me in recent memory was "There Will Be Blood." I like the director, the concept was cool, the look was awesome, and it was praised and awarded. Boring. Boring. Boring. And I like a lot of slow movies.

A guy I know, told me to see Meet The Spartans, which was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Thankfully we were not friends or I would have to have ended our friendship, immediately. Also, No Country For Old Men got a lot of hype, but when I saw I wasn't impressed at all. There's more, but that's just two of the top of my head.

the ones that stick in my head right now are cloverfield and tropic thunder. everyone said cloverfield was sooo good, and that it scared them. i saw it and absolutely hated it. HATED it. i just didnt find tropic thunder funny, especially tom cruise in his creepiest role. ever.

Exactly my feelings!

I heard, though, that much of it is the fault of the new 'Final Cut' (the version I watched) that they released of it in 2007: there's no voiceover by Harrison Ford's character in this latest release, so there's virtually no plot at all anymore...Plus, the slow pacing doesn't help. I think there's a voiceover in the Theatrical and Director's Cuts, though.
You know, a great movie could have a slow pace, but without plot, it's absolutely terrible...

I loved the special effects in Blade Runner, though- they were probably the only reason I sat through the entire film!

EDIT: Yeah, what EnzoHonda said about the different cuts... I'll have to see the theatrical version sometime so that I can actually enjoy the movie...

Crap, double-posts!

I really disliked the Eragon film (like just about everyone else) because it had so much potential to be a relatively good ripoff of Star Wars and The Lord of the Rings, but it just completely failed in every aspect except the CGI for the dragon in it.....Even Jeremy Irons did little to make the movie better....

Just goes to show what happens when you put a special effects lead into the director's seat for a film with lots of money (same with AVPR, I imagine- the directors for that movie were also fresh out of the special effects department.)
