Twilight.

Almost everyone I know likes that movie. I hate it. A lot.
My parents enjoyed the movie. That actually threw me into a fit of argument against everything that is Twilight.

Transformers 2 and Boondock Saints. I mean, everyone who actually knows what they're talking about tends to agree that those movies suck, but I have SO many friends that love them both. They're awful.

The Resident Evil live-action trilogy. Almost everyone I know (excluding those who have actually played the games) thinks these movies are brilliant. I hate them with a passion. It doesn't have anything to do with the actors, I love Milla Jovovich, Odhed Fahr and a lot of others, it's just... Paul Anderson. Nngh.

Iron Man. The movie was anti-climatic out the wazoo.

Also, what superhero in his right mind would do what he did at the end?

Boy in Striped Pyjamas

I know I'll probably get flamed for this, but I was so boring and generic, and the ending just screamed "lets be as tragic as possible to get kudos with the Schindler's List crowd"

Just my opinion

Borat. It wasn't that funny. It is interesting from a social science perspective, but it was horribly not funny to me.

Twilight sucks too.
It was alright. Not really sure it needed two sequels, but the second one was alright. The third one annoyed the shit out of me.

That right there. Hate the movies and the books with a passion. I'm still trying to sell the one that's defiling my bookcase. >_>

Space Odyssey 2001.
Except that I'm not the only one to recognise how bad a film it is, even by the standards of the day.
This. That movie bored the hell out of me. I mean looked pretty and all, especially for the time it was shot, but I found it severely lacking in pace. Great music though. Duuuuuummmm Duuuuummmmmm Da Dummmmm!!

I'm not such a movie goer, but the first Harry Potter movie put me to sleep. Literally. The only thing I liked about it was that a lot of the characters had British accents.

[small/]The Third Man[/small]. Well, to be fair, I didn't [i/]hate[/i] it exactly, as a matter of fact, I actually rather liked it. It's just average. Nowhere near as my friends made out is all.
I think a problem with something like The Third Man or say, Citizen Kane, is that some of these classics have been hyped up AND their influence has been felt in many, many, other films that have followed in the last 70 years, so we can't really see them in their proper context.

I didn't hate it, but I think Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is the worst film out of the series so far. So many people praise Cuarón's direction and the production design, but I felt a lot of things were mishandled. And there were some giant plot holes.

Shaun of the Dead...

It just sucks. Nothing else to say.

Infact Simon Pegg just fails overall.

I might get slated for this, but I absolutely HATE Donnie Darko. I thought it was the single worst film ever created. Everyone I know is head-over-heels for it and no matter how many times I try to watch it, I just can't. What a waste through and through!

Michael Moore "documentals". Most of the stuff he said is tendentious, heavy edited or would only surprise someone that spend his life in a cave. I believe he is a lousy researcher, yet loud too. I also got that feeling on "Supersize me".
