I'm glad other people dislike Avatar.

For me Spiderman 3. I don't understand why everyone hates it, it's fun

Hmmm, movies that everyone but me hates. Well I know quite a few people hate equilibrium, but I think that it would be quite a hit on these forums, just like how army of darkness is.

I honestly have no idea, at all. God damn it. Chances are I'll have loads once people start posting.
Equilibrium was Bad Ass! It is the Zune to the cinematic iPod that was The Matrix [that metaphore sounded better in my brain]

Drag me to Hell. While working at Blockbuster, I would always recommend that movie but was always looked at like I was insane. I've also overheard a lot of people talking about how stupid it was and how much they didn't like it.

Umm, that's how everyone feels about those movies.

I am one of the few people I know who love Starship Troopers 3. Also Underworld: Rise of the Lycans and Twin Town.

Tideland by Terry Gilliam. Awesome minimalistic movie that for just once doesn't present childhood as the happy fairy-tale of suburban life and instead has the kid make it into such in any way she can.

I liked 2012, yet most people apparently hated it.

I thought it was better than James Cameron's Avaturd
"Avaturd"! Oho! I see what you did there! Wow, the wit on this forums never stops impressing me.

All the Pokemon movies, The Island, Secret Window, Spirited Away, and Howl's Moving Castle. I absolutely love these films, but a lot of my family members/friends hate them. I don't know why either, because they're all pretty good.

And since some people have posted their disliked movies, I'll just put in a series of movies that I can't even believe how popular they are considering that they aren't really that good: Twilight. (In my opinion, the only thing those movies have going for them is the CGI, since the story is rather confusing and weak, and the characters are pretty one-dimensional.)

For some reason, I always thought that Superman was the best of the bunch. I loved Richard Pryor, and I HATED the evil Superman. Pretty much the exact opposite of the routine opinion. I'm the first to admit that it sucks, but I love it.

Avatar. For anyone who is confused, its because it is generally hated by my friends and the majority of escapists. It was an old story that was told in a new way, which just so happened to feature aliens, robots and giant red bird-things. Also, I genuinely see Pandora as a cool sci-fi setting, and I would like to believe that the inevitable sequel will do something new and interesting but it probably won't, because with a production like this risks can't be taken. To be honest I like that Avatar doesn't try to get to deep with messages other than 'trees are nice', because although I really like sci-fi movies like District 9 and The Matrix (haven't seen Inception or Splice yet), sometimes I just want to chill and watch a bunch of dickhead humans get their collective ass kicked by giant hippie blue aliens.

'Unobtanium' is still a really stupid name though.

Moving on to my other choices. I thought Ghost Rider was a really good movie, it had Nicolas Cage as a flaming skeleton killing demons while riding a motorcycle. Which is pretty high on the badass scale from shia labeouf to Chuck Norris. I also liked The Beach, Watchmen, Van Helsing and Hellboy (which pretty much everone I have ever asked hates.
