Damn, I really thought I'd be the first one. I swear, I don't even know how long that movie lasted.Kaitluuuh said:S. Darko.... I really thought for awhile someone had drugged me before I realized it was just that awful.

haha suprisingly i JUST bought/saw the series, got em all for a total of 9 bucks at wal mart....highly regret buying the last two, the first one for being so cheesy, was awesome, as you stated, but the 2nd and 3rd...no. just no.HellbirdIV said:Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation and Starship Troopers: Marauder.
I'm one of those people who absolutely adored the "loose adapation" that was the 1997 movie, reveling in its ridiculous machismo, extremely loose grasp on science, silly plot and krass tits-n-gore exploitation (well, as much exploitation as was allowed in the 90's). It's just a whole ton of fun to watch.
The "sequels"? Not so much. SST2 brained itself somewhere and thought it would be a good idea to be "more like a horror movie" except failing to actually be anything of the kind. UGH.
while i understand where your coming from on the accuracy of it all, how did you NOT enjoy it?!?!?! the fucking spear throws and some of the sword scenes were ridiculous in that movie! just as a movie, say to take away the actual history part of it, i think its entirely enjoyable, which is what i went into it as, i have yet to see any movie that accurately depicts a war or battlehigh_castle said:Avatar was forgettable and over-hyped, but not so bad I reached for the Brain Bleach. No, Troy wins that award for me. As a student of Greek myth, I went in apprehensive about the way they were removing some of the fantastical elements from the Iliad. But whatever, I gave it a shot. And it was terrible. I've never before or since considered walking out of a movie, but Troy got me to that point. I think it was written by someone without any understanding of the source material.
oh come on! the second one had some awesome scenes! (while as a whole, the movie isn't THE BEST, yes, and some of the scenes were "uhh...?..") but the scene where he runs to the boat on the river, or when the heli takes out the whole piss ton of those zombies with the chopper blade, you can't tell me you weren't adrenaline pumped!Lamppenkeyboard said:Alright, it wasn't *that* bad, but the first was one of my favorite movies of all time, of all time and my expectations were set to high for the movie to attain; pretty much I expected something likable.imahobbit4062 said:That's your answer for the movie that was monumentally bad you wish you could unsee it?Lamppenkeyboard said:28 Weeks Later. *I am not a puritan of zombie movies but I admit that 28 Days/Weeks Later had "infected" instead of zombies. You freaking win.
I can't take people in this thread seriously anymore.
What?!Heppenfeph said:Napoleon Dynamite. That is the worst movie I have ever seen.

That movie is basically a throwback to the old exploitation/spectacle films of the 70's. Its BATSHIT INSANE, and it knows it.. oh my does it know it. It starts off with a man surviving a fall from a helicopter! And yes, I loved that movie. I thought it was hilariousDarkenedWolfEye said:Crank 2: High Voltage.
That movie was nothing but breasts, guns, people with breasts shooting guns, people with breasts getting shot, and utter stupidity.
It bordered on a pornographic movie for people with violence fetishes. Two hours of my life that I won't ever be able to get back.
I never saw Crank 2 but I can tell you Crank has a great sense of humor is you get it. It's just one of the high octane films filed for men, and you can see that they get it and play off that humor.DarkenedWolfEye said:Crank 2: High Voltage.
