Wow, I didn't even appreciate the irony of that.Durxom said:I somehow don't understand that, coming from someone with a Rip van Winkle avatar...unless you haven't seen Hellsing Ultimate yet...
A lot of action movies, and most of Tarantino's other movies? I'm not sure what it was about IG that did it for me, but it was... something. Maybe that I was expected to be cheering these guys on as opposed to appreciating the awful-ness of it or something.zelda2fanboy said:How old are you? Like how many movies have you seen? Have you seen even one horror film? Any other Tarantino movie? Any action film? Any WWII movie? Any of the first three Indiana Jones? That was too much?
Not trying to be mean, but when I saw it, I was taken aback by how not violent it ended up being. I would have let any other complaint go, even if it was about the subtitles, but I never expected "too violent." I mean, you do play video games, right?
It was terrible. There was no point to that movie at all. It was just 2 hours of people not really doing anything.Mydogisblue said:What?!Heppenfeph said:Napoleon Dynamite. That is the worst movie I have ever seen.

Sam Raimi has announced a fourth installment to the Evil Dead series. Ash fans, eat your hearts out.DeMoNxDaVe said:I really have a strong disliking for A nightmare on Elm Street 2, 4, 5 and Freddy's Dead. Oh Freddy's Dead, how much I hate you. I mostly hate 4 because it replaced the main chick from three and I loved her. But I'm pretty Sure the good Freddy movies make up for those four shit asses. Hopefully the remake will be good, gotta love Jackie Earle Haley.
Oh and while talking about Freddy movies, Freddy vs. Jason was bad in a good way. I'm still disappointed they didn't make a sequel with Ash from Army of Darkness.![]()
Sigh, I know. I was at Borders the other day and saw it all by it's lonesome and almost shouted "DO WANT!" but I had no money so I limped out of Borders, defeated. Yeah, but movies are escapism (badum-bum) to me and something that mundane was just kind of letting the air out of a balloon that was the narrative. It's usually very bad storytelling to not describe or at least show some insight into a plot point that pivotal to the story.sinclose said:It was the shock value of the original book.King of the Sandbox said:I know, right?Kumomaru said:Bridge to Terabithia. The worst thing in that whole movie is how the girl is just suddenly up and dead one day.
It's like, "Welcome home from school, dear. Hang your coat up by the door. Oh, and your little friend drowned in the creek. Now go wash up for supper."
I was all, WTF? Uhm, so nice of you to just spring that on us, movie. It just felt like the writers were lazy.
Actually unexpected loss was, in my opinion, 1 of the main themes of the book and movie. For me, the abruptness of this was what made me like the movie. It's like in real life, there's rarely any build-up before 1 of your loved ones die out of the blue...

Haha, you think that's bad, keep watching the sequels. I bet you can guess how they all end just from watching the first two.Jamieson 90 said:phantasm 2, seriously if you have never heard of it then good, fuck knows if anyone knows what happened in that film seriously a dream sequence then a flash back of a flash back of a flash back, what the fuck was going on, I doubt even the writer and director knew.
If I remember my younger school days correctly, I recalled it as one of the worst and most unoriginal books ever written. For a story thats all about imagination, the author sure lacked some in writing it. Figure's that the movie sucked as well. However! My worst movie award has a permanent place of honor to "Funny Games", this has got to be the most god awful movie I have ever sat completely through. From the slowest and most boring story based on "physiological horror" it displays two sick annoying pricks you just want to die so its over with. Couple that with the fact that the movie pulls THE BIGGEST "fuck you!" gesture at the audience and you will be leaving pretty pissed off at this movie. To even believe a movie would pull the plot stunt this one did is beyond belief, espically for a mature, realistic theme. You need to see it to even understand, anyone who says their worst movie is Twilight hasn't sat through this!Kumomaru said:Bridge to Terabithia. The ending made my eyes bleed.
