Ohh ye there are video tuts. on youtube for it(A friend of mine had it in is recent activity list, the reason why I know).

Edit; Does that mean the Hindu form of it is banned to? Even if it isn't kinda sad ppl still care this much about that. Earlier games have done it(which by logic was closer to WW2) so why not in 2010?

But...

Isn't there still a Nazi Zombies mode? What about COD1, 2 and 3 where you could play as Germans soldiers? Seriously, it might be their game, but this really doesn't make any kind of goddamn sense.

I've seen at least two swastikas, a stupid amount of penises and bestiality. I guess that's what happens with that much emblem customisation... Some people will create a replica of the Mona Lisa... Some will make swastikas.

Steam recently banned a friend of mine who used Adolf Hitler as his username from editing his community account :p

If they don't want stuff like that in the game, then don't make it an option to make it in the game.
MS shouldn't ban people for something that anyone can make in the game, they should instead be going after Activision for putting it in the game in the first place.

I think its sad people are still that uptight about it.

Possibly offensive musing below, don't read if you anger easily.
I wonder if they'll do the same for any emblem depicting a plane and buildings.

Who would use a swastika anyway?

I can think of 2 categories:

1. Neo-Nazis
2. 13 year old boys

I think the gaming scene is better without either groups.

I admit, I didn't think of that until you said it, but I certainly like it.

One of the guys I regularly play with, a former Marine, has a Swastika as his emblem.

I'm sure someone could easily pull a whole "freedom of speech" thing and get away with it(even though custom emblems aren't covered by that freedom).

What they should be working on is stopping all those stupid 14 year olds that have penis' for their emblems. Why would you want that?

You think that's bad? Here's a real life equivalent.

I don't think it is legal to have them in Germany, so they are probably just covering themselves legally. Everyone knows that the people running the XBox are fully fledged goose stepping Hitler fans so don't abandon them if you want a safe environment for you and your national socialist friends.

^This.

It's like when people put dicks as their emblems on other shooters and got into trouble for it. Why do people feel the need to be offensive?

You can't pull freedom of speech when it's private domain (Microsoft or whoever owns it)

If it were your own clothes, I'd say you're untouchable, but if you walk into a restaurant with them on and you tell them they either remove it or find someone to accomodate them, that's fine too. You couldn't tell them to remove it on a public street, and that's just fine.

I know, but they second someone screams that x company is violating their rights, they get their way. Even if it's just because the company doesn't want to be seen negatively by the people that aren't informed on the situation.
