Both Saints Row games.
Saints Row 2 still seemed fairly active for me. Well at least up until the PSN nightmare hit back in April, but I think I got around at least four or five people wanting to connect online the last time I played it.

1. Chromehounds ( T-T )
2. Every Original Xbox Game in Existance
3. Red Faction: Guerilla (Shame too, had so much fun breaking shit in that game.)
4. Many iOS games that were meant for Multiplayer are now dead.
5. Bioshock 2 (Twas alright, could see why it died though...)
6. Halo Reach (Not exactly dead, but with Call of Duty being the parasite that it is, the number of people playing it are slowly but steadily dropping.)

They eventually come back after they get sick of the people on Blops.

Other than Unreal Tournament 3 of course.
GOD DAMN NINJASSSS!!!!!!

Did you know Arcanum had multiplayer? No, well neither does anybody else now.
What was the multiplayer even like? I got it from GoG, and I've never tried it.

OT: I no longer have XBL, so I haven't been keeping up.
I do remember having a lot of trouble finding Call of Duty 2 servers, though.
Call of Duty 3 is very active, still, and I'd go back if I still had live. :p

Quake 4. That place was such a ghost town that I ran into the number 1 player on the leaderboards. Needless to say, I was slain quite a bit.

Star Trek Legacy, did you guys know that game had a multiplayer component?
Yup, and its awful.

How you screw up flying a giant space ship around shooting phasers and torpedos at each other is mind boggling.

In my opinion, Alien Swarm... It was great when it first came out everyone got it (cuz it's free) but then it got... obscenely repetitive.
I didn't want to go through the process of downloading all the custom made map packs... and so there were only 7 maps. And unless valve decided to update it, it's stuck like that
Exactly, and since it IS a free game... well, lets just say that half life 3 will probably be released before this is updated

The Club on Playstation 3-but it wasn´t game would awesome,it was quite pushed back by others games, and it s quite old,so it is very logical. And also Lionheart-Legacy of Crusader (on PC).
Club have however still splitscreen (althought team based modes are little dumb when you are only two of us and no possible add of AI bots) and Lionheart-Legacy of Crusader good old LAN co-op-or better it has classic server-client system. But online are both dead.
And also James Bond-Bloodstone,then I try multiplayer last time,it was dead.Definitive dead.So if you want do multiplayer in James Bond game, don´t pick up Bloodstone on PC.Nobody is playing online that (so forget about multiplayer archievemnt on PC).And it have no local support,so it is really which multiplayer part is useless-edit:not sure how many you need to begin match, but if it as it Quantum of Solace, then you could probably do some private match in for example two people....need to look close at that possibility

And last time I played LOTRO,I managed to have been alone in one part of map during my one hour playing of that game(it was in Lone-Lands).Not say that game is dead (then servers would be shutdown),but it was quite strange feeling-see in social panel only my single name.I don´t remember exactly when time it was,but I think some day in working week in afternoon or short before afternoon.

I used to play text-based multi-user dungeons (e.g., http://www.perilousrealms.com/online_status.html). There were 20 players online at a given time ten years ago and 40 fifteen years ago. Now, it is peaking at 8.

Tf2. Although not dead, it's content dead. players just come by and trade hats and play till their drop cap is done

First time I've used that video, and it's totally appropriate. You must have some profoundly awful luck with finding servers.

Has anyone noticed an increase in new accounts instantly necro'ing dead threads? I've been seeing it a lot lately, but there comes a point where it's fine to make a new thread :p
Meh, doesn't matter.
OT: While not dead yet, assassins creed revelations multiplayer is dying, certainly. Which is very disappointing :(

Like many other people, I'll throw in Chromehounds. It was fun to have a giant shiny voicebox on my hound and tell my friends where the enemies were at, and then go make a sandwich while they do their shooting. Another title that seemed dead was TC: Endwar. Using the mic to command your troops was fun, really! It was like Hey You, Pikachu WITH TANKS!

Battlefield Bad Company 2: Vietnam. I loved that addon so much. Even more so than Battlefield 3. Also Call of Duty 4 at least on consoles is well on it's way to dying which makes me depressed :/
