Music Genres you hate.

Hmm, I am very surprised. I was expecting this thread to be a flame fest of epic proportions but I am happy to be proven wrong.
OT: I can't say I'm fond of any of that Disney Channel "pop", or other pop for that matter.

I really don't like rap[footnote]there is one exception but you'll have to PM me if you really have nothing better to do[/footnote] or country. Also, if you listen to too much Techno, you begin to recognize all the cliches most of those tracks use[footnote]I'm looking at you, accelerating to impossibly fast drum-rolls[/footnote].
I'll tolerate most other genres provided I'm not overexposed to them. At the moment I'm kind of avoiding pop altogether after two months straight of Kesha and Lady Gaga. There is also one song I won't even mention here lest it get in my head again. Lets just say listening to it makes me want to rip my ears off my head and stuff them into the source of the music.
I need a break from the annoying repetitive songs they play back in my hometown.

You should be dissapointed with your self! Metal is the one and only good genre left in the music industry! Everything else is made through the clicks of a mouse, not acctually practising and playing on instruments.Glamorgan said:

I don't hate any genre except for the terrible rock (and it's always rock) music played by fictional bands in movies, usually Disney ones. They're so fucking awful and boring I cringe every time the underdog band filled with likeable yet quirky protagonists plays the totally awesome song they wrote to win the talent show/contest!
"Metal" is a very diverse term; it can refer to anything from Iron Maiden to Lamb of God.Glamorgan said:

I have to disagree with that statement. Certain orchestral music, Jazz, latin/salsa and their branching genres all require vigorous practice with real instruments that cannot be synthesized.lambsheep said:

Any and all rap or hiphop, mainstream shitty pop, dubstep and other remixed bullshit, RnB, grunge, dance music and extreme death metal.
Oh, sure, because pop is obviously the only genre other than metal that happens to exist, and the guitars and drums you see in other genres (that are really only in metal songs, guys) are absolutely imaginary, and orchestral songs are totally 1700's.lambsheep said:
