Thats a shame, I actually like most of the album. "Lotus" is currently one of my favorite songs, also, "Back Against the Wall," and "In One Ear" are both pretty good too.Angelo Credo said:Same here, sadly though I really found the rest of the album to be just...Well, bad.Shynobee said:Well, after I started up Borderlands, I just had to go out and buy the Cage the Elephant album, which I am listening to as I type this now.
I loved Ain't No Rest For The Wicked, but the rest of it just annoyed me for some reason, that song really isn't indicative of the album as a whole.
Same here. I've started listening to their first two albums again, and I forgot how awesome they are.DarK Gun said:Right now I'm in Coheed and Cambria mode.
Give Between the Buried and Me a try.The Only said:right now im in a musical wasteland because i have not listen to anything new.

Actually, I have heard Avantasia, their pretty awesome I just always forget to mention them. I'll be sure to check out Gamma Ray though.sune-ku said:I commend your taste! Have you checked out Avantasia? (it's a metal opera project by Edguy's lead singer) and Gamma ray are an awesome European Power Metal band too.chromewarriorXIII said:I've been listening to some Edguy and more Megadeth then I usually do. For the most part I've been getting into a lot of European metal bands like Edguy, Sonata Arctica, and Rhapsody of Fire.
But I always leave room for my favorites like System of a Down, Dream Theater, Symphony X, and Disturbed.
Recently I've really gotten into Sabaton:
That was awesome. Not too hot on the chorus but other than that it was bitchin'.SantoUno said:Fuck Dragonforce, this is true power metal right here.
I find it a shame too, because I really loved that song and was hoping I'd love the rest of the album too, who knows, I'll try giving it another chance though, with any luck my opinion may change.Shynobee said:Thats a shame, I actually like most of the album.
