Claim that she was asking for it to happen, since she helped to create and reinforce a circumstance in which it was entirely possible as an outcome.

I second this, if i were in your shoes OP i would just get your truck repared. You already have a gf, and while she seems a little odd, at least she cares about how you feel, and you don't really need another woman to worry about, they are a handful after all.

I think most of the confusion comes from one option sounding way more appealing than the other. If you just do nothing, you get your truck paid for. But if you go out and put all the work into getting a second girlfriend, there's going to be pain and possibly trickery?
