I mean, if she didn't dump you after insulting her mom, either her mom is that horrible that she hates her, too, or something's incredibly wrong with your gf. So cheat on her! + Maybe she'd live you to find someone else so you won't be vulnerable when she dumps you.

So me and my gf got into a really bad argument recently about the fact that i still have a low self esteem and outlook of myself (i firmly believe that i have the self esteem of a toaster and the charisma of a half eaten bagel). So out of nowhere she made this bet with me. She's making my half of the relationship "open", meaning i can go out and meet other chicks. Why? To apparently prove what she says is true as far as my looks/heart. However, if i fail to do so in a matter of 3 months, she'll pay for my truck to get repaired in full (needs alot of major repairs, so that's pretty ballsy on her part). However if i do succeed, ....well, that's too private to speak of but lets just say it's going to hurt. Alot. But i figure i can make some money off of this, so im takin bets from my friends as to whether or not im going to succeed, so either way i think im gonna come out on top lol but what do you guys think?

its a test! why would you even think about looking for and picking up other women? other than the obvious - why not? She is testing you, if you want to stay with her then don't do it and think of it as a gift that she is going to repair your car.

I'm gonna go on my paranoid instincts and say: "She is dumping him, but she feels he hasn't got enough shelf esteem to keep on living without her, or someone else."

Think about it:
1. If he hooks up with some other chick, she can dump him without feeling guilty for leaving him vulnerable and emotionally broken.
2. If he fails then she can at least give him a breakup gift(repairing his car) so she won't feel that she took everything from him.

On a side note: anyway you take it, it's a win-lose bet, but you don't know what will be the winning option until the end.
