By which I mean watch Futurama
Or you could try taking up table-top gaming, I did just recently and it's been a lot of fun.

Get a job!

Or if you have a job, start playing Warhammer, that should clean up all that disposable income you have.

Learn how to survive in all weather conditions with no outside help! (Seriously, that stuff suck while you're doing it, but afterwords makes you feel like the biggest badass on the planet, and is extremely rewarding. Plus it gets you laid.)

Video games; bitches don't know about my video games!

How about watching anime or reading manga. And I mean the good shit, not the generic crap that delusional writers make to exercise their sick imaginations.

Also: VIDEO GAMES.

I have a suggestion which, while not perhaps a good hobby, could be good for some laughs and a fun timekiller.

First, tear up a few bits of paper into little notes. Then, you write a few random adjectives and words and whatnot. For instance:

"Magical"
"Red"
"House on wheels"
"Boot"
"Space"
"Plumber"

Whatever you can think of, really. Then, you mix it all together in a hat and pick up a handfull of notes at random. Then, you piece together the catch and try to write a story or draw a comic, depending on what you'd like, from what you can piece together from the notes.

Like a magical plumber with a red house on wheels.
I didn't know Mario was a landlord that sold trailers and had a blood fetish!

I vote for videogames or tabletop games. I find both quite enjoyable.

You can also watch Futurama or Dr. Who or Burn Notice or How I Met Your Mother or the like.

Learn to dive
Seriously when you take that first breath underwater, it's like breathing new life
Trust me it's amazing and if you have the upkeep to continue I would highly recommend it, I know I wish I could do it more often
Other than that skiing is very good if you live near a good mountain

I would like to expand on this guy's question with my own: give me a hobby, that will give me something of interest to share/talk about with people. Hobbies are great, but I need one to help me seem more interesting than I am ._. my current hobbies are just mainly computer games, and photography

Uh...find out if there are any annual pop-culture conventions in your area and set about making a "cosplay" for the next one. Hell, if I had the money, know-how or look for any possible costume that's probably what I'd be doing right now. Then again, I'm sure I'll come up with something.

But I always find that it's best to build upon current hobbies instead of branching out to new ones (not saying that trying new things is a bad thing, hear me out). You like drumming? Get some mates together and form a band, go in some local competitions. Maybe write an original composition for your...drums. Post a video on the internet of you drumming to a song of your choice.

my main hobbies are mostly computer games, random internet surfing (if that can be called a hobby), and photography~
oh, and anime (I am going to the local anime convention this year~ one of the perks of being an amateur photographer with a nice camera is that all the cosplayers are all too happy to get their photo taken)

I guess what I really need is a hobby that will get me out of the house and out somewhere where I can socialize~

My current hobbies consist primarily of playing the drums and music, and I'm looking to branch out. Variety is the spice of life, after all.
Join the military? Go get drunk at a bar and Un-successfully hit on chicks but have a good time. Crude things that most gamers and nerds look down upon are what make men..well men from time to time. I lost 95 pounds this year and am Leaving to do Intelligence work for the Navy next week. Talk about accelerating your life!/!? ..i'll miss RE Operation Raccoon city for a while tho

Then take some photographs of some cool shit, y'know? Between you and me, ladies love a photographer (and guys will gawk at any photos that are cool in the slightest). Case and point, yesterday I had a mate over and he wanted to see the pictures I took at Supanova last year (a sort of pop-culture convention in Sydney, this should give you an idea). So I show him the pics, and in the same folder were some pictures of a friend of ours in poses that were a bit wierd taken out of context (i.e blindfolded with a gun to his head and a Mcdonalds french-fry in his mouth). So he asked and I got to show off what they were for (a body of work for my Photographic and Digital Media subject at school). One thing leads to another, bada-bing bada-boom.

But point is, it's best to surround yourself with people who are also interested in what you're interested in. I talk with friends about the geekiest, stupidest shit possible, and I've built most of my social web around that. Above all be nice, be confident. Your hobby could be cataloguing snails, and if you frame it right people at any given party will line up to hear about your malacological exploits.

Cooking is good if you're a patient person and aren't hungry when you decide to cook, Other wise download heaps of anime and go nuts. It's what I do.
