Plus it'll give Nintendo some new material to work with. I'd love to see Nintendo work with a different style of platformer since they've been sticking to familiar ground for a while now.Promethax said:I know Megaman is kinda already dead, but they should really sell the rights to nintendo. At least nintendo aren't self destructive assholes like capcom.
A Retro made Megaman would be amazing. They've worked well with both 2D and 3D games, I'd bet they could work their magic to make a great new Megaman entry.Rin Tezuka said:Plus it'll give Nintendo some new material to work with. Or better yet, let a studio like Retro or WayForward handle Megaman. Donkey Kong Country Returns and Ducktales Remastered are great examples from both companies showing they understand what made the original games great whilst still adding their own spin on the games.
F-zero addendum. Please bring back the F-zero X soundtrack. The new big blue theme is so... generic.FourCartridge said:F-Zero:
GX HD with online multiplayer. Safe while getting a way to gauge interest in the series.

Let Platinum make the game they've been wanting to work on for the series.
Agreed, but I'd like the see IX over VII.4RM3D said:I'll go first...
Final Fantasy
Release Final Fantasy VII (or VI) with the graphics of the latest FF game.
Because damn, the latest games are anything but FF. At least the Tales series remains true to its roots.
Sadly, Square Enix has already said that they wouldn't be able to do that, because of the vast amounts of time and resources it would require to create FF7's world with their best graphics. Unfortunately, since SE doesn't seem too keen on the idea of dialing back their graphical quality, that statement also implies that they won't be giving us a game world with the same size and scope of FF7 for quite some time, if ever.4RM3D said:I'll go first...

I agree and disagree. Why not come up with something new rather than mutate an old franchise.tardcore said:I'm sorry Mister Phelps, I refuse to accept this mission. Dying game series often deserve to die as they are no longer topical to the current gaming market. And the the only way I see to save them is to update and change them into something unrecognizable from their origins, to be topical with the current gaming market. Which most often horribly perverts and compromises them from their origins.
So to quote Captain Kirk, I say "LET THEM DIE!", as I feel its much less of a disservice to all involved, than to mutate them into something they aren't, to meet today's gaming standards.
I realize that is your opinion...but you are wrong. At least you didn't say VIII though.Arcobalen said:Agreed, but I'd like the see IX over VII.4RM3D said:I'll go first...

Hell, if they just released a VI remake a la Final Fantasy IV Complete, I couldn't throw my money at them fast enough.4RM3D said:Final Fantasy
