Honestly, you'd have to mix games together. Dead Rising 2 looks good, but lacks some of the other things you want. The first game requires some timed quests and boss fights to get the full experience, working on getting my hands on DR2 so can't speak for it

L4D 1&2 are both a little linear, but multiplayer is supposed to be fun, however, you have a PS3 and no gaming PC so you can't get them. Nor do you seem willing to branch out into the possibilty of Microsoft. If you really wanted you can find a cheap X360 for some good exclusives, but honestly, get a game comp. Steam is worth getting on it also, and if you wait long enough you can find some good games are great prices w/ free DLC.

PS3 zombie games, only thing I can think of is Burn Zombie burn from PSN store, but it's a small map with your basic assortment of weapons, the big twist is using flaming zombies as multipliers when you kill others. Unless you're willing to branch from Sony (which I do love, btw) you're going to be very limited on material to play to your specifications
ugh i was afraid of that... i dont mind branching out but i already spent all the console mony on a ps3 cus all the games i liked are on there... oh and twisted metal.

Yeah, good luck with that. When you find the holy grail, let us know.
now hold on, this is not unreasonable. the developers are working for us remember? come on, if we want a good game we got to show that we would buy it. they wont take risks so if we can make them understand that that would sell billions then they would make it.
No, the developers work to put cash in their pocket, you egocentristical person. First of all, it's hard for a big name game to sell billions, and yes, what you are asking for is unrealistic.

And even if it weren't, there's Dead Rising 2 that pretty much meets most of your demands and you are saying no to it because you don't like a few things? Really? You go ditch Hundreds of millions of dollars to make yourself a game then, after all, developers work for you.
ok, this is going to sound crazy but... they make money when people buy the game... people buy the game when they like it... so a good game is good for every one.
That's why I called you egocentristical, from what I'm seeing you just want Grand Theft Auto but with zombies and boss fights. It does sound good, but not groundbreaking.
but i'm not the only one, you yourself said this sounded awesome... my ENTIRE friends list thinks this is the makings of a awesome game and even people who i dont get along with agree...
Yes but Dead Rising 2 is KIND OF it, and Left for Dead is the other part you are asking for, except the boss fights.

Honestly, and you could always mail your idea to a game developer, hard to see if they'll pick it up though.

you have no idea... i have mailed note books to places... the only one who replied was valve... they said they cant because they have the same engine for all their stuff and it wouldent work for my games... oh and they like the first person thing and my ideas wont work with that.

you're not going to find a single Zombie game that fits all of those specks.
My advice would be get both DR2 and L4D between them you'll get you're fix.
That or wait for Dead State to finish....It looks cool

Hmm... I'm thinking: Crackdown 2

Or better yet: a mod for GTA: Vice City that turns everyone but you into zombies.

The time limit is actually what makes Dead Rising work.
And the controls are awesome fool!
Get Dead Rising 2, get a time machine, play dead rising 2, go back in time and punch yourself in the gut for thinking badly of it.
You'll understand once you've played.
uhh controls are supposedly the biggest problem other than the bosses. if every reviewer says so then i am going to be wary. and while i wouldn't mind the time thing, is there like a free mode were you just kill the fuckers for a few hours? cus if so then i'll get it.
Reviewers are pillocks. The controls are fine.

DR2's five-day time limit is about 20 hours. They don't force you to follow the story or do anything you don't feel like. You get the shit ending, but who cares as long as you're wailing on zombies?

And the bosses are really hard. They're way harder than DR's ones. Even at max level you gotta know what the hell you're doing. They pop up as time goes by, but like I said - the game doesn't force you to do the story, rescue anyone, or anything you don't want to do.

Fallout 3 sort of counts if you include ghouls. Could try Siren, which is a ps3 exclusive. It's okay.

the ghouls make up such a small part though, unless your hunting for them you find such a small percentige... and siren is supposed to suck hard.

Fallout3's ghouls are fun, but there's very limited ways of killing them. Sledgehammer, knife, gun, grenade, dog. And there's not many of them to warrant a zombie game.

if you have a mac, you can get killing floor off of steam, it's Mac compatible. they may not be "zombies" but, it's a darn good game none the less, you'll enjoy it, games on sale today as well, so don't procrastinate too long now.

here is the level up trailer, they have "addons" but, all they are are character models you can buy, the maps and weapons come free with updates. and you can level up a class to gain better modifiers for yourself ie: sniper gets more ammo and damage for rifle/crossbow.

C'mon man! like i mean that your being such a picky person that you should know that they DON'T make games just for what you're thinking of!
What you describe of what your looking for is almost exactly dead rising 2.
Choose that or nothing
