Honestly, you'd have to mix games together. Dead Rising 2 looks good, but lacks some of the other things you want. The first game requires some timed quests and boss fights to get the full experience, working on getting my hands on DR2 so can't speak for it

L4D 1&2 are both a little linear, but multiplayer is supposed to be fun, however, you have a PS3 and no gaming PC so you can't get them. Nor do you seem willing to branch out into the possibilty of Microsoft. If you really wanted you can find a cheap X360 for some good exclusives, but honestly, get a game comp. Steam is worth getting on it also, and if you wait long enough you can find some good games are great prices w/ free DLC.

PS3 zombie games, only thing I can think of is Burn Zombie burn from PSN store, but it's a small map with your basic assortment of weapons, the big twist is using flaming zombies as multipliers when you kill others. Unless you're willing to branch from Sony (which I do love, btw) you're going to be very limited on material to play to your specifications

This is a tough one the only thing I can think of is the zombie island of dr Ned add on for borderlands plus you can play it twice since the game makes the enmies tougher on your seconed playthrew

now hold on, this is not unreasonable. the developers are working for us remember? come on, if we want a good game we got to show that we would buy it. they wont take risks so if we can make them understand that that would sell billions then they would make it.

And even if it weren't, there's Dead Rising 2 that pretty much meets most of your demands and you are saying no to it because you don't like a few things? Really? You go ditch Hundreds of millions of dollars to make yourself a game then, after all, developers work for you.

you have no idea... i have mailed note books to places... the only one who replied was valve... they said they cant because they have the same engine for all their stuff and it wouldent work for my games... oh and they like the first person thing and my ideas wont work with that.

My advice would be get both DR2 and L4D between them you'll get you're fix.
That or wait for Dead State to finish....It looks cool

Get Dead Rising 2, get a time machine, play dead rising 2, go back in time and punch yourself in the gut for thinking badly of it.
You'll understand once you've played.

Fallout3's ghouls are fun, but there's very limited ways of killing them. Sledgehammer, knife, gun, grenade, dog. And there's not many of them to warrant a zombie game.

true... i owned it and never felt zombie... never felt apoctolyptic either... new vegas is supposed to fix that.

here is the level up trailer, they have "addons" but, all they are are character models you can buy, the maps and weapons come free with updates. and you can level up a class to gain better modifiers for yourself ie: sniper gets more ammo and damage for rifle/crossbow.
