Rather enjoyed the response. Well said. Not that "Facebook-based" is a step in the right direction, but this is why I stay the hell away from any and all fandoms, even of things I actually like: certain people become legitimately ugly over the things they enjoy. Something that ultimately has nothing to do with them and no consequence in their lives is taken on as something deep and integral to their very being, and any perceived attacks on that is something to be fought with all of their might, only worsened by the internet, a largely anonymous venue without consequences for one's actions, no matter how depraved and disturbing. It's legitimately depressing, and no amount of logic and reason from me can do anything about it, so I just stay away from it.

It's moments like this when I realize that not everyone on the internet is either a stoner or a brony.
Or a Stoned Pony.
We need to relax.
Stuff like this doesn't help.
Both of those categories of people can be just as obnoxious and irritating as anyone else, by the way, and frequently are,
especially when you have a differing opinion on their beloved vice. They just tend to be a lot more passive-aggressive.
The review? The review was fine. I'm about tired of everyone acting like Heath Ledger is the only thing that made The Dark Knight decent (which is all I thought it was, by the way, but that's neither here nor there), though; speaking as someone who didn't know who Heath Ledger was, what movies he's been in, or that he was dead by the time I saw the movie, I thought he overplayed a part and smacked his lips a lot. Not really detrimental to the movie (it's not like hammy actors and The Joker character are strangers), but hardly the shining point of it.
The review itself was reasonable, thoughtful, and supported all of its claims fine, though. Whether you
agree with it doesn't matter; nothing within it merits anything close to animosity or insults.
