New Batman Game...Sequel to Arkham City?

I admit, these Batman games are awesome, but after the

what could they do now? There are more speculation and rumours dotted around the net as well.

That's true, but the Joker is the iconic Batman villain. Even before the games or movies if you were to ask someone who was Batman's nemesis they would go with the Joker.

Honestly I'm not sure who would be best for a Big Bad spot, what with Joker dead, as well as Ras and Hugo. Then again I'm not all that familiar with the Batman franchise.

I wonder if they could turn their attention to other superheros? Maybe on the Marvel side? A Spiderman game by Rocksteady would be pretty damn sweet.

xD I was talking with someone about the upcoming movie and he said - in complete straight-faced seriousness - that he was glad they were finally getting to Bane since he has always been Batman's primary nemesis.

I literally stared at him for about 10 seconds in silence before yelling "What the FUCK are you talking about?!"

OT: Yeah, there are plenty of Batman villains that a new game could focus on. Throw a dart and take your pick. Though personally I'd say the next best bet after Joker would be Riddler...buuuuuuut I guess if he was the PRIMARY villain there wouldn't be anyone to go around setting up little side-challenges.

Rocksteady has said in the past that they were interested in pursuing a Superman game, but the sequel hooks presented in Arkham City were fairly Batman specific.

My guess is that they're going to have the inmates escape into all of Gotham.

Sadly, Mr. Hamill has emphatically stated that Arkham City is the last time he'll ever voice The Joker.

Arkham City had that side-quest with that guy (Azriel?) talking about a big ol' shit storm coming. So that, probably.

Hopefully they'll be more focused with the villains they use next time. It was a good idea to have Strange and the Joker tenuously linked, so you have a bit of a mystery over whose behind what, but then you have everyone else locked up in there too, and it starts to detract from things a little.

And I'll be angry if they undo their (surprisingly numerous) deaths in AC.

I thought they were making a Superman game next? I was sure there was an article to that effect on The Escapist at some point.

More Batman would be great though he is awesome and definitely my favorite superhero. Kevin Conroy is best Batman.

Something that made me smile was the henchmen around Amusement Mile where chatting and they said:

'What's next Arkham Planet?'

or something to that effect, made me chuckle.

Plus, I think the other villains should get more screen-time. If we only focus on some of them, more and more will probably get ignored because people don't know who they are.

I agree that they need to dive into the villein pool I mean joker is badass but he is getting overused I haven't had the time to play arkham city yet but from what i saw them do in the first one with scarecrow I want a game of that stuff that was awesome

or have the riddler do something other than hide achements everywhere it kinda bums me that is all he does in the arkham series
I mean we know riddler can do some cool shit, I would like to remind everyone about that episode from the awesome 90's cartoon where he trapped police chief gordin's mind in a VR machine
