Yeah it's weird thing. I mean I get that they want the "Arkham" thing at least in the name so people understand its a continuation, but it'll be hard for them to keep coming up with reasons to involve Arkham in other settings.Khanht Cope said:I thought even Arkham City was a daring stretch for them to attempt to pull off after the first game. If they were really crazy enough to try it a third time; (and I think if they do; they should separate it from the Arkham series so the public would take it seriously) I think Prometheus might be a good idea for a big bad, though he hasn't yet found major status in Batman's villain gallery. This would be a chance for him to make his mark.
He's essentially Batman flipped on his head, and has been referenced in the background of both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City.
Batman dies and goes to heaven, only to find out ironically that his parents are in Hell. Batman decends into the the 7 layers of hell to try to rescue his parents, only to be find out (after beating Satan) that it wasn't a mistake. His parents where pederasts and deserve to be there, and had only been using his emotions as a means to escape hell.arc1991 said:Just stumbled across this rather interesting article.

I admit, these Batman games are awesome, but after the death of the Joker, what could they do now? There are more speculation and rumours dotted around the net as well.
Your thoughts?
A giant theme park stinks of Joker though, him being a deranged clown after all.Sean Hollyman said:Well given what happened and was hinted at in City, it's likely.
Scarecrow will return. You just don't leave things like that there, and NOT make a sequel. They're planning something.
EDIT: A game set in Gotham would be cool.
Or a giant theme park.
If they did Gotham, a level when you have to sneak in and explore Wayne Manor woud be really cool.arc1991 said:A giant theme park stinks of Joker though, him being a deranged clown after all.Sean Hollyman said:Well given what happened and was hinted at in City, it's likely.

Im guessing it will be Gotham, it's all they can do now.
Hopefully the Harley Quinn DLC will clear things up. Hell Joker could of faked his death, we all know what he is like.
Great, give them ideas. Especially after Batman Inc [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batman_Incorporated].SmarterThanYou said:Batman Arkham City: Brotherhood. To be followed by Batman Arkham City: Revelations.
While a Rocksteady Spiderman game would be cool it's probably never gonna happen seeing as Activision own the rights to Spiderman games. It would be far more likely for Rocksteady to take on another DC hero as Warner Bros(Rocksteady's parent company)own DC comicsThe Wykydtron said:I wonder if they could turn their attention to other superheros? Maybe on the Marvel side? A Spiderman game by Rocksteady would be pretty damn sweet.
Hugo Strange could've been awesome, but he was overshadowed by Joker, Penguin and Ra's Al Ghulkman123 said:For once I want someone with the combat prowess of Batman to have a go. How cool would that fight be?
Anyway, I'm glad they'll use a different villain this time around. City was weird. It had Hugo Strange marketed to be the major villain then Joker came around anyway. I just found it a little discerning.

Please, all of you use spoilers. Quoting someone who spoiled it, then complaining that he may have spoiled it just makes the spoiler more glaringly obvious. Edit your posts please.DEATHROAD said:Couldn't have just said "After the ending" huh? had to spoil it without warning for all of us who haven't got around to playing it yet.arc1991 said:after the death of the Joker
OT: I'm more excited for a good superman game, although another Arkham game to add to my list would be nice.
I got the game spoiled for me too. That was in a discussion about Arkham Asylum and someone blurted out the ending of Arkham City before it was released on PC so the ending was pretty much ruined for me. I kept hoping that it was someone trolling those who hadn't played it yet.pure.Wasted said:Yeah. Me.hazabaza1 said:Spoiler warning, dude. I already had the ending spoiled for me but many people probably haven't.
What the hell, OP? Does it take that much brainpower to put "SPOILERS" in the title, or put some warnings in your post or something? Honestly.
It's been out 7 months, and you're looking at a thread about a SEQUEL to a game you haven't played yet. Don't expect people to tiptoe around spoilers.pure.Wasted said:Yeah. Me.hazabaza1 said:Spoiler warning, dude. I already had the ending spoiled for me but many people probably haven't.

He also is willing to make an exception if the Killing Joke is ever made into a DC animated movie.RJ 17 said:Probably shouldn't burst your bubble like this....buuuuuuuuuut.....Strain42 said:Give me Arkham Planet or give me death!!!
And c'mon, you have to have the Joker.
You can't spell Mark Hamill without Arkham![]()
Sadly, Mr. Hamill has emphatically stated that Arkham City is the last time he'll ever voice The Joker.
