I wish we would stop hearing about more overpriced DLC from Bethesda, R* (GTA), or Criterion (Burnout) for that matter and start hearing about some new games. Can't they move on yet?

I would hope that they are and honestly, Bethesda isn't as bad as the other two, at least they've released two big games this gen. It's the next GTA and Burnout that we should be getting more details about now. But we only keep getting details of more overpriced DLC that doesn't even do anything to make the games better; they just seem to want to add more of the same.

It's just sad because Burnout and GTA used to be two favorite franchises of mine but their efforts for the current generation have been so lame, I'm probably just going to rent the next ones.

Yep I found the Lost and the Damned a major let down. Once again the media utterly over rates and over hypes a rockstar product. It was buggy, none of the missions were in any way original or different and many of them were downright frustrating to play (pipe bomb chase beong the worst)

At this point, I'm just hoping that they even make another one this generation. If they do, they really have to bring back some of the over-the-topness of the series: Tanks, Miniguns, Rampages....
Unfortunately, I'm picturing them trying to add little elements here and there (example: 80s DLC instead of Vice City) so in the end we have a $150 GTA game that only kind of has most of the elements we expect to see in a GTA.

Same with Burnout. I may not even rent the next Burnout if there aren't any crash junctions.
