I wouldn't mind if Duke Nukem Forever was back in development. I miss the jokes about its release, or lack thereof.

You would be surprised just how good these old franchises actually are. I bought Serious Sam on xbox live the other day, having never played any of the other games, and it is genuinely the most fun I can remember having for a very long time.Jolly Madness said:

The Duke has never been the same since the Success of Duke Nukem 3D and while I've actually sat and played most of the admitted mediocre Titles following ive found them just passable (Manhattan Project) to trash (Land of the Babes anyone?).
Unless this game IF its trailer is legit as something stellar up its sleeve and they was only showing generic stuff in the trailer to keep all the good bits for us to find when / if we play it, I'm sorry its not going to stand out against the likes of Bad Company 2, Modern Warfare 2 and the likes.
As for do I think the trailer is legit, its hard for me to say. The footage while looking mediocre at best looks legit enough as ive seen just about every video about it when I was actively following its progress, the titles part doesn't seem pro enough to me, there's just something about it that I cant put my finger on that makes me wonder.
Time will tell my friends.

Very unlikley this is real as they have permantley cancelled the game and shut down (?) i think so unless ty have some sort of parrallel universe machine its not too likley.
I haven't even been playing games seriously for as long as this game has been supposedly in production. If that's what they've managed in 12 years, I agree with Yathzee and they hired monkeys to make it.

Some little darned opinions of mine:
1.) The Scattergun Chaincannon is absolutely spot-on.
2.) "CoD-style" weapon switching can fuck off.
3.) The footage doesn't fix my main gripe with DN3D: the enemies are samey and uninteresting in combat. It's cool having an awesome arsenal but I found that using them against enemies that don't do much else than waddle/float around while shooting you dampens the experience somewhat.
Point 3 is the best game review I will ever make.
