I loved FFVII and it does look like a revamped version so that's fine with me. But I wish it was out sooner! The combat looks pretty cool but that was just in the trailer so I hope it's as good as it looks!

I've said it before and I will say it again, when they change something besides graphics or story I might start to care. They get the same amount of contempt for recycling the same game from 1987 every year that EA gets for recycling the same sports games with a bigger number.

Final Fantasy Online doesn't count.

But if they change the story then its not the same game, and also the only time that the games had similar stories and gameplay were back with the first 5 games. Thats when it was all about crystals and constantly turn-based rpg gaming, however now the game play and story changes noticably for each game. Look at the difference between X and X-2, oh and at least they dont recycle the same story like every Zelda game!
