Personally I loved the trailer. People cry out that it's pretentious, but I think they put in a lot of effort towards getting the correct themes across. I saw an interview (on IGN I think) with Cliffy B about how he had been reading forum posts and was really disappointed with how people went on and on about how macho everyone was rather than relating to the feelings of loss, desperation and sacrifice that they were really trying to get across, something I can empathise with.
The biggest problem I have with it is putting Anya on the front line; not because of the fact she's a woman, but because it's Anya who's originally a radio operator as opposed to, say, Bernadette Mataki who is actually a soldier. I would find the sudden change from voice in-your-ear to badass soldier all too dubious.
I wonder if we would meet the final Carmine brothers - I still think they're going to be twins. And I don't know if it would be better if they stuck to the original Carmine formula where he's a pansy who just really, really tries his best, or if they turn out to be awesome.
