In my experience, it makes coordination between RPers substantially easier and quicker. The best part about it: it's free!

Ohh this RP interests me. I have to eat dinner now but if there's still room when I come back I will write up an assassin character.

Sorry don't have Skype.

EDIT: Ok, here's my character

Name: Galdar (last name unknown)

Species Northerner

Gender: Male

Age: 65

Appearance: Wrinkled skin and short graying hair. Tends to wear a black cloak with a hood that covers his body and keeps his face hidden. Is around 5'6. Wears a pendant with a dark blue jewel at the center around his neck

Weapons: Has two knives and a short sword, as well as a small bow and a quiver of arrows. His cloak was also enchanted by a Fae, when he grips the pen date, his cloak changes color to match his surroundings in an attempt to blend in.

Weaknesses: Galdar, while fairly strong, is old and it shows. He is slow to heal from his wounds and in a straight up brawl he tires easily. He prefers to use stealth attacks or kill his enemy with a single devastating blow before he becomes too exhausted and is overpowered. Also his bow and arrows are useless against anyone with decent armor, for he mainly uses it for hunting. He is also unable to use magic, and is forced to rely on his wits in a fight. Also while his cloak does indeed change color, it hardly makes him invisible, simply slightly harder to spot. It is only truly useful when no one is actively looking for him. He also has no armor.

Personality: Galdar is fairly friendly and tries to get along with the people that he meets, but has his limits. He tends to be fairly philosophical and likes to contemplate on may things, more often than not simply rambling on without making a point. He is also rather illusive about himself, and avoids talking about his past. He also has a very strong sense of moral justice and will not hesitate to speak out against something that he finds to be wrong.

Bio: Galdar was born in the mountains like many Northerners. However, no one is sure who his parents are, as he was found in a basket outside of an orphanage. He was cared for their until he officially became a man at which point he left to see the Oracle who told him that his duty would involve great hardship and suffering, but would yield wondrous rewards. Believing that she was talking about the hazards of mining and the rare jewels that he would unearth, Galdar went to work in the mines. He was content with his life there until it was raided by bandits. He attempted to fight back, even splitting the heads of one of the attacks with his pick axe, many miners were killed in the attack and he was wounded before guards arrived and slaughtered the bandits.

It took Galdar a few months to recover completely from his wounds, but when he did, he did not return to the mines. Instead he went to the house of a retired assassin, who had once protected the Northeners by killing entire groups of bandits without any of them realizing what was happening until it was too late. After much begging, she agreed to teach him the arts of the assassin, teaching him how to blend into his surroundings, how to hide in plain sight, how to wield a sword and shoot an arrow and where it was best to stab a person if you wanted to kill him. Most importantly, she taught him how to think outside of the box and to approach situations with creativity. After ten long years, his training was finally complete and he left the house of the assassin, with an enchanted cloak as a farewell present.

He then wandered the world as a mercenary, using his newfound skills, eliminating bandits murders and thieves, hiring himself out at very low prices, only taking enough to keep himself fed and his equipment maintained. As the years went by, his body began to grow weaker and weaker and he knew that one day soon he would have to retire. When rumors reached him about a great threat that loomed over the horizon, he decided to seek it out, ready for one last job, one that would he would hopefully be able to weasel some retirement money out of.

Is that acceptable? Can I get the all clear on this?

Name: (Please, have some creativity with this.)

Species: Vulcan

Gender: Male

Age: 25

Appearance: When on the homeworld and not having his hood drawn up Rekjavo has a medium-length ponytail which is braided and long black goatee. The most recognizable mark he has on his face a tattoo around his right eye going down to his jaw line. Also he doesn't wear footwear of any kind.

Weapons/Magic Spells: Carries around a short sword attached at his hip and two other small daggers. As for magic spells he mostly uses earth based attacks and projectiles.

Weaknesses: Due to his earth powers Rekjavo i commonly afflicted by water. Also he has a mouth then tends to earn him more enemies than friends on his homeworld.

Personality: Overly humorous and views casual insulting towards others as a way of being friendly. Most though see him as just being an ass.

Bio: As a child Rekjavo grew up very poor and most of the people of his village would resort to stealing from passers by to achieve their living standards. As a result Rekjavo could never afford proper footwear (and as an homage to his life he still never wears shoes bringing scrutiny from others). In his teenage years he discovered an affinity for earth based magic and studied it whilst also being inaugurated into the bandit legion of his village each member of which getting a brand put on them (the tattoo over his right eye). During his tenure with the group of misfits they made many heists and at one time were even asked to join a small military force because of their skills. Even though he served under a form of government he and the bandits would still find ways to steal items and even if caught would often get out of trouble thanks to Rekjavo's talking and flattery. Now in his mid-20's Rekjavo is a serving as a speaker of representatives in the Vulcan gov't but still uses his magic and weapons to get his way.

Firstly, there is no enchanted items as of yet in this RP. Secondly, I find the idea of a Northerner going from miner to assassin/mercenary just a little bit out of whack. Thirdly, and this is equal parts personal preference as well as the need for character variety in the story, but if you still want a character that is some sort of stealthy assassin, I'd recommend either RPing as an Elf or Human.

I keep seeing the word "homeworld" used frequently, and I'm not quite sure if you understood from the OP but I feel I must point out that this is all taking place on one planet. Now, with Vulcans having similar appearances to Aqueans, they are unable to have hair of any sort. Also, there is no legion of bandits in Ardor as it is a generally peaceful place and there really isn't a big government to speak of that would facilitate the need for representatives other than those within The Circle. Another thing I'd like to point out, is that the Vulcans are a largely magic-based race, however that isn't to say that they cannot have weapons, just that some sacrifices to both skills will have to be made. This is just a minor detail, but kind of something that I feel should be addressed - Mt. Vulkan is not one of those places where one can be liberal with one's attire. They're given specially made clothes for a reason, to keep themselves from burning up. Essentially: No shoes, no feet. I'm afraid I cannot accept this sheet as it stands.

As I stated above, there is no enchanting as of yet in this RP and I have provided an explanation as to why that is in one of my previous posts in this thread (number 16 to be exact). While I do find the idea of the treasure-hunter-type character interesting, I just feel that there's just too little in the sheet. I think there could be a lot more to this character than a never-ending quest for "shinies". I'm going to need to see a lot more character depth before I am willing to accept Mr. Knight.

I might not of worded it well the enchants are dead and mostly just part of the weapons backstory the enchants at this time are long dead and everything nor can they be restored really. The weapons are sister blades as in they are made to fight with each other as the char duel wields.

I was trying to state some backstory is all and what the enchants where but they wont effect anything now

Sorry for any misscomunication

More details I could prob do I just need time to think and right it out mostly I could incorporate a split personality perhaps

Weapons/Magic Spells: Fated Seal and Destined Seal his twin sister daggers that he had custom made back before he became a treasure hunter the weapons carry many secrets and are quite vertitile in use and only he can use them properly.

he is a novice in some spells that he is attempting to learn to help improve himself and his ability while he has no mastery over any of them he can use some to hide himself and temp paralize foe when touched from the right spot.

Weaknesses: He can not resist shiny things. He will stop whatever he is doing to obtain the shiny thing due to his lust for treasure and personal gain.

Wanted in several villages and is often required to enter from there underworld or other means.

Personality: He is a cold and very untrusting man who hunts the world for treasure weather its legal or not which is why he is wanted in some places by some people.

Bio:

Born in a poor family he was never satisfied with life and how it bored him from such boring tasks one day he saw something valuable by a rich nobleman and stole it without them noticing after that he became fascinated by gems and other treasures and dedicated his life to it.

When he was 13 he met a old man who was a master at the arts of blacksmith who told him he could forge a special set of weapons if the right materials where brought to him

After 6 months of both finding the materials and time to learn the blades for his use only the sister daggers get completed shortly after the old man passes away leaving his skills to the young treasure hunter who hides the teachings and scrolls in a place so no other may steal the art or learn the weapons secrets.

After practicing and learning proper ways to fight he formed a small gang of rogues who he led on missions to steal items from rich and the otherwise bizzare contracts his clients often gave him for along time life became good and he gained his place among the shadows and blackmarkets of the world ensuring him to always have a safe place to stay.

He killed someone for the first time when he was 15 when a theft was botched and led to the young womans husband to dieing. It troubles him greatly as it caused a great rift between his friends who thought of it as a betrayal of trust and cast him out as a cold blooded killer.

This left him to leaving a small gang of rougeus that had been his first family afterwords he starting working by himself taking on harder jobs and improving his skill.

He hopes to have the widow to forgive him one day for the death of her husband.

as the years passed he slowly grew colder and more distant from the ones he once knew and his face and name where becoming more well known

At one point over his travels he has been chased by guards and many angry people often marrying a young woman and running off with her treasures.

Thanks to his skill and ability's he has been hired in the past for shady groups which has allowed him to work in the underworld where he honed his ability's that allowed him to live so long.
Apparently the new layout tricked me and I hit the wrong one.. anyways this one is more updated Im making his Bio split up in when stuff happened corresponding to his age :D

Yes, I am still willing to review sheets and accept players, though for the magic, it will be basic elemental type. Necromancy (along with enchantments of any sort) are considered dark arts, dead and long lost for millennia.

Damn, I was going to put together a Nature Magic Fae who's studying Necromantic Arts. Guess I'll retweak my idea. I should have a sheet up fairly soon.

Just as a heads-up, we've already got four Fae characters, so to greatly increase your likelihood of getting a character in would be to add a little diversity to the group. I'd recommend just glazing over the current lineup we have to the moment to sort of gauge what would really add to the group.

Heh, yeah I realized that after I'd posted (Maybe next time I'll read the accepted characters before starting on my own.)

Name: Jokai Menelaus

Species: Northerner

Gender: Male

Age: 65

Appearance: At 5'6" and nearly 185 lbs Jokai is powerfully built, and still very fit even at his advancing age. His hair and beard are both slivery-grey, but with enough colour left to show that once they were a bright fiery red, keeping both in tight braids. Two emerald green eyes sparkle from his forge and wind burned face.

His attire is simple and functional. He has a well made set of blue tinted boiled leather armour, with a pair of stout boots. Over this he wears a rough spun hooded grey robe that he keeps belted across the middle.

Weapons:
A simple wooden-handled knife with an 8 inch single-edged blade.
5 pound blacksmiths hammer.

Magic:
Cinder - Cast on an existing fire it causes to the fire explode. (The power of the explosion is directly proportional to the size of the fire.)

Inferno - Casts a five foot jet of flame form the casters hand.

Firebomb - Caster throws a ball of fire. (Range dependant on strength of caster. In Jokai?s case, 50 yards.)

Weaknesses: Aside from the normal mortal frailties, being a Northerner he's more susceptible to heat than others, and due to his age he tires quickly.

Personality: A friendly and affable man, Jokai is always willing to help others; even if they are complete strangers.

Bio: Born in a small mining village on the North side of Mt. Sliverback, Jokai was found to be magically gifted at a very young age. As a child he spent his time either with the village Magi learning to use and control his gift, or with his father learning to me a blacksmith.

At fourteen he was given permission from the village council to use his magic outside of the Magi's direct supervision. While some questioned giving such freedom to one so young, the Magi said that Jokai had shown wisdom beyond his years during their lessons, and he felt the boy was ready for the responsibility. Needless to say his father was overjoyed.

On his sixteenth birthday he made the difficult trek to The Oracle, only to return confused. When he'd reached the peak of the mount all The Oracle would say of his destiny was, "You will not find your rest on this peak." After that he returned home, and thought no more about it. In time he took over his father's forge, producing what some would say was some of the best steel outside of Mt. Vulcan, and married a girl near his age from a neighbouring hamlet.

The years where good to Jokai, and his wife gave him a son and daughter, both with fiery hair like his. His son, much like Jokai, showed signs of the gift at a young age and went and learned much from the old Magi, The Oracle saying that he would be the new Magi when the old one passed. His daughter took to the forge like heat to a flame, and on her twentieth birthday he passed his father's forge to her.

Throughout all of this a feeling lingered, leaving him restless. He did his best to ignore it but from time to time he would wander far afield trying to quell those feelings. Shortly after his fifty-second birthday his beloved wife passed away from a sudden wasting sickness. Now without someone to keep him occupied the restlessness grew worse, until his children stepped in. After much work persuading him that he would not be abandoning them, they finally convinced Jokai to stop fighting his destiny.

With that blessing from those he loved most, he finally set off into the world to find the spot where he may finally rest...but in thirteen years, he has yet to find it.
