Edit: I assume that if they take damage they go hostile whether you are looking at them or not.

Judging by the screen shot, they do, and they can probelry fight back if your lookign at them, or it wouldnt be scary.

There's a whole awkward feeling to the video, and the eyes are wrong. Also, the Minecraft Beta 1.8 is wrong, the t in beta is too high. Look at the in game one now.

It is fake. There's a lot of evidence for this video being fake (go on official minecraft forums.)

Also this isn't how they work. They are entirely peaceful, and don't care about you until you put the reticule on them.

yes, this looks very fake. first of all, its supposed to teleport to directly in front of you. second, when its close enough it should run at you.

also, I wonder if you look at it through a wall in your base it will notice you...
