Good thing I'm building an epic castle with lots of tunnels to the outside, I don't think I'll ever return to the surface with these things wandering around.

I know they'll be programmed to move blocks, do you think they'll be smart enough to pick apart walls or will they just play with the environment?

Either way I'm setting up 4-block-deep moats around my fort and stockpiling TNT. I shall be ready when the Endermen cometh.

Notch has stated that they won't attack unless you put the cursor directly onto them. The teleportation thing is also incorrect. They teleport about once every second, and only to somewhere that you can see. Thus, this video is fake. I got the feeling that they would only teleport infront of you if they could get there in one teleportation, else they would just teleport closer to you.

And oh god, fan made or not this made me consider living in my mines 24/7 from now on ._.
However I liked the sound it made(not counting the teleportation sound)

I have 2 homes, one underwater and the other is a tree house, so I don't need to worry as long as I never leave either house. Unless notch make flying or underwater slendermen (which I completly think he will) in which case I'm boned.

Yeah, they're not gonna be like that, we have no idea what Notch is gonna do with the Lendermen but personally i'm not convinced he'll even make them evil mobs, besides it's not like he could make the game any scarier, they've already got the *shudders* ambience

Im glad notch is adding something truly freaky though. Even creepers were losing theyre edge. But now..... Enderman! (dun dun duuuuuun!)
That should bring a new spark to the game.

I'm assuming their only hostile in the, curosity killed the cat, which would be to look at them, then if you look away, they won't care where your going, because, well, they got SHIT TO BUILD, I still think it would be Neat-O if they purposely built forest cities, not only that, but if one would be there forever, like a guard to the empty nothing of which it lives for. So, my speculation, they ONLY attack when your cursor is on them, thus like in real life, you'd be scared at the mere SIGHT of them and turn your head in speculation of the monster still being there, their face being the last sight, they will carry some blocks around to play with, this either means they'll be sophisticated and build, mine into the earth by moving the blocks out of the way, or simply just being stupid and just moving blocks around. What would be more cool if their eyes started to change color based on their pissed level, from white to a blood red, again, assuming they will insta shot you like in the video, it would be useful to know when to back your shit up and leave, their also apparently passive, but when hit, or looked at, WILL GET PISSED and more or less insta shoot you, also, they'll have incredible speed on your side, and I wouldn't count on them being rare, since notch LOVES to fuck with people.

Wow. just when I figured creepers would be the worst things in my nightmares. Those are just freaking eeerie *shudders* Definitely gonna keep and get back to work on a nice giant tower, maybe some lava flows for extra security, though knowing Notch if they get hurt they get pissed and go after the nearest targets.
