Cool stuff. I gotta say that the rice grain one and the cellphone thing were very impressive.

Hmmmmmmm..........Maybe Mega Man X and Zero can be built within a few more years given the rate of these technological advances.

In other news, Skynet seen cackling maniacally.

That's pretty goddamn cool though.
*Sigh* Yes, the new Terminator movie was cool. Can we have enough with the constant Skynet references now? Seems every-other article I read on this site has someone making that joke ever since Salvation hit theaters.

Anyway, cool video. Those things are the kinds of mechanical limbs I can see myself day-dreaming about having.
The SkyNet jokes have been around long before salvation, maybe you're just too young to remember?

Bring on the robot Olympics!
I'm putting my money on the hotshot Japanese robot that obliterated the world record for the 400m dash. It'll be a good day to be a robot.

Amazing, it also thinks it's amazing, because it was giving us the finger while doing half the tasks.
Was curious who would be lucky enough to say that first.

That stuff was so cool, but the phone part honestly made me go OH SHIT!!! out of mere reflex.
Japan loves us though...thankfully...but we should buy some more manga just in case.

Where the things that make us weak and strange get engineered away?
Sorry, sorry. It was too good an opportunity to pass up. Cookies for anyone who's heard that song, though.

On a more relevant note... That's pretty amazing. I want to see two of them play catch.

I never said Salvation created them, but ever since the movie hit, nearly every article I've read on this site has had the same "Zomg Skynet" joke tacked onto it if the article talked about anything even slightly related to either robots or AI programming. And since this is a gaming website, the joke has gotten very old.

Not to be a buzz-kill but is it too silly to start praying for the scientists to keep things nice and simple for now and that they keep all things considered save while also adding common sense to it? Just asking ^^;

Yes if technology was developing linearly. However, it's exponential, not linear.

You will learn with time that all things get old. Case in point, your mom. JK but on a serious note everything gets old, like mom jokes, just let the kids keeping it alive grow up and maybe they will go away.

OT: I really plan on going to see that thing when i have the chance.

"Oh Robots will never be as fast a person", They said.
"Walking robots are impractical and slow", They said.
"Robots can't drive cars over land", They said...

"So where are my giant killer robots", I ask?
